Mudding...

Found a "little" mud hole on a trail we where on. No pictures of the hole as it was too dark, but I was past the top of all 4 tires in mud. Had to spend about 20 minutes winching and finally the alternator packed it in, rad fan bit the dust and the engine inhaled ALOT of muddy water from this stupid cold air intake I decided to put on.

Need to get rid of the cold air intake. It will cost you a motor if your not careful.

remember its your ride build it your way not there way.
but build it dont buy it

doesn't work anyway. Without the air box in place, you're just pulling more hot air in from the engine bay. That's why the stock air box comes with a route plumbed from the front of the rig, directly to the air box.
Thar "cold air intake" setup may look cool... but as with so many things, it's actually dropping your performance because you've got no real "cold" air coming in to supply the air filter.

Mud is awesome to play in... but if you wanna play in deep mud or water, even when you snorkel, you're gonna end up replacing perfectly good parts you WILL destroy.

Best thing to do... if that's your gig, is lift that bitch up high enough to keep the top 1/2 of the motor out of whatever you're driving through.

If you're willing to pay the price... then rock on with your bad self and keep the picks comin'.
