Park chosen was stony lonesome in Alabama. Cool place and stupid cheap. No shortage of dust and hot as hell, little bit of carnage and a lotta fun! Overall theme was, "dust for breakfast, dust for lunch, wash it down with a 55gal drum of power steering fluid, and finish it off with a couple TFI modules for dessert"
Filling up all the pigs before arrival
Back on the road again
Couple pics of camp
Couple pics of Lifted Fords and I early Friday getting a feel for the place before Grease and the single Alabamonian-nite...AUBronco showed up.
Saturday wheeling. Because Grease's Bronco couldn't make the trip, he decided to bring his work wagon and post up for all the haters......literally
A few driver seat specials on the main trail.
AUBronco being towed by each of us due to a TFI module. All in all, I think he went through 14 modules..?
Here he is spotting Lifted Fords down a little gnarley hill with a v-notch while letting his cool.
By far the best trail at the park we wheeled. Partly because of the shade and partly because of the rocks. This trail claimed my spare tire. My rear end kissed a tree and it pulled my tire off the carrier plate. Easy fix and no other damage to tire, carrier, or Bronco.
My new 38's got into my bumper here and there and just proceeded to get worse throughout the trip. No worries though, I have some things I'd like to change, so version 2.0 will be soon to come. I also blew my 3rd power steering line/seal so its time to help the sag pump out with some hydro power. Long overdue.
Obligatory line-up pic with our minor carnage on Saturday. May have to zoom in on the green bronco's hood to see it's Achilles heel. Blue Bronco is rolling on beginners luck I guess
Quick video of LiftedFords coming up an ATV/SxS hill.
Took a couple shots Saturday night at camp while the ribs smoked. Temp dropped just enough to make a fire and enjoy a cocktail and cigar over Bronco talk.
Sunday morning we decided to head out a for a few more trails before the trek home.
