there were a ton of people! funny you started right at the time we finished. we started at 820 and finished at 1140. our group of 5 firefighters ran it in full suits! i am dead...calves are crazy sore!

where are those pics? i'm dying to see some finished pics!
full gear??? i'm assuming not scba. But even still, bunker boots, pants, and jacket...son. I've been wet before in those, not fun. my calves are dead. i can't even extend my legs fully at this point. It was a blast. I wanted to give you a call, but the phone was in the car.

Here is what we started with.

Here is the shop we worked at, wifes daddy's shop. This place has lots of elbow room to say the least.

Just need to get ourselves a sign or something to put above the door.

It was a little slow out of the gate on the welding. We had to change the recpetical for Fritts' welder. Measured, cut and then we.............................

Got both sides of Marks mounted. They are about 90% done I believe. Gotta get some braces tacked in to support the outer bar. Then maybe a step fabed up.
damn. very nice set up. nice sliders too.

shooting??? hmmm skeet anyone? i have a thrower and some pigeons waiting to be used

i probably would have missed your call bc i forgot to charge my phone the night before.

no, no. not turnout gear. we got suits from the thrift store...slacks, shirt, tie, and sport coats. i'm pretty tough and impulsive, but not that dumb! here is my get up before the race

no after pics yet, bc they were taken with a friends nice camera. i'll post some when i get them from her.

i'm all about some skeet. i have a cheap thrower too and a box or more of skeet sitting in the garage.

sliders look good. just one question...i thought you guys were going to get 3 sets done, what happened? i guess the lack of my presence kept the level of productivity down...i'll try not to miss the next one, so we might be able to actually get some work done!!

Just think if we brought all the paper work required to perform a govt. job. You wouldn't have struck an ark yet.

As usual we all have something to do on our pos. Nov. 6th looks to be the date for fritts to finish up my sliders, just not sure where that is going to take place. I have Nov. 12th and 19th off this month because of some training on my days off. If you guys want to pick one of those days to do some of this work sounds good to me. I'm sure we can use the clubhouse/shop. I just can't do both days. I promised the wife a date on one of those.
