For ultimate cleaning spray with degreaser, let it sit a minute, then hit with the pressure washer. I use this stuff to turn Lawn mower wheels from green/brown back to white.

Digger you left out Scuba Steve.

so fun little fact. I made a mad dash to the Junkyard for a fan clutch 2 days before the run because the fan was wobbling back and forth and I was worried it would explode on me. Bought 2 of them, one OEM, one aftermarket replacement (didn't know that at the time). Put the OEM clutch on and it apparently worked long enough for that trip, now it has the same wobble and the engine runs hot in traffic. Ya see, This is why I had a spare and tools with me, If I didn't it would have failed in the woods.

oldrojo...thank you very much, we did have a blast and yes ya gotta love a place where you can still camp in winter.

Ok, we are gonna go for April 11th I believe, because the 4th is too close to Easter. I will post another thread in the Dixie Chapter by the beginning of February or so...I don't want to block out the others who are trying to get something together in the forum chapter too far in advance.

pfun41....you gotta get some recovery points on the front of that rig....$20 at 4wd parts.

I am making a run into the forest at the beginning of February to establish some sort of a route for running obstacles. Only gonna be a day ride and if no one can make it, it's cool because I will take it easy and not push the truck into bad places...just gonna view the trails and their conditions. I have to make my move then because my RE refresher school starts right around there and goes until March, so I need to bury myself in the books.

I know if something occurs I always have Scuba Steve right down the road at the local hardware store...and his buddy with the big Chevy....

Sorry it took little bit for me to process some more pics and post...

Phew! We made it back to the clearing and stopped to put on some dry clothes.

Riding with ANGELO. We are fixing to hydroplane over another puddle in this shot

Some treacherous ditches out there. Luckily we didn't find them BEFORE we finally managed to catch up with the rest.

This one is for '89Bronco302... Nice Wheeler... Brother... yes, once again found out how it's a small world in Florida.

Here's a action shot of digger159 trying to pull pfun41 out of the puddle. I think we all had fun to get stuck and double the fun to manage to unstuck!

This one is for pfun41. Detail from previous shot. No wonder you got mudded inside since just few moments before this you had your window open...

Maybe I'll join you guys sometime with my excursion. I have street tires right now but when they run out shortly and I'll get some at's I'll be pretty much trail ready.

Jeremy, thanks yes I just found out from my instructor that I don't need to stay for the whole course...I can just take the final test when I want. That opens up the first weekend or so in March also for scouting. I want to be prepared for the ride this time so we get more trail time in with all the trucks there. I will be in Ocala this weekend for sure...hoping Eric gets his rig back to square so he can come too.

Eric, tell me how many pins are in your fuel pump relay...I found 2 different relays for my Bronco year available at my local Oreilly's ... one fits mine, one doesn't...I was thinking it may be yours.

Scubadoo....nice pics, thank you for breathing some more life in our thread. I must have dodged the Pepe-bullet...lol. Now that I know he misses stuff, I can run with that...
Looking forward to seeing the Excursion out there on the trails...just don't follow that crazy kid in the red Bronco....lol.

Man, You guys sure look like you had a blast... I recognized some of those trails...

You all waited for me to leave Florida to do this ...

I know there was a website with all the trails listed on it at one time, I was trying to look for it for you guys ...

Keep the fun coming and thanks for the Videos and Pictures,
Allcruisen

PS The first time we were out there we thought Larry was crazy bringing a chainsaw, until we needed it ...

Ocala: Part 2

So pfun41 and I went on a scouting run to the Ocala to look for some trails to scope out and designate as worthy of a multiple truck ride....I think we found some...

The day hadn't really got started and, well....pfun was dead set on not following me...you'll have to ask him about this pic.

The first video is a trail we had a little trouble finding until I asked one of Ocala's finest...yes, I ask cops all the time about where trail links are when they come onto the road surface...

http://youtu.be/WONnRPtqqmY

This second video is aptly named "The chocolate pump" for a good reason...
Now, the first time I tried to do the crawl thru the swamp at the end of the video it was brought to my attention that my front hubs were not locked. After locking she moved thru it well...not so smooth for the "Yellow Submarine" commander...LOL.

http://youtu.be/Vwk19KSoRno

The last video is the last part of the ride toward the edge of Lake George in Ocala NF that we didn't complete the last time we were in the park...

http://youtu.be/m3TV2cS26P0

And a pic of the Lake...

The trucks parked back by Lake George...

Another lake we found during the search...Grasshopper Lake...

The trucks resting...

Another fun ride and good company to boot...thanks pfun41 for showing up...I may have been in some trouble on my own this day..LOL.

Awesome guys, seems the weather was just perfect. Looks it was just beautiful in the Ocala swampy woods! Too bad we couldn't make it. And the Lake George spot looks like it's made for camping. Might even catch some fish there for dinner but if not we can always have digger159 prepare some of his well done hot dogs for the hungry crew.

My new nickname for the well done wieners is, cat's ass cooked.....Yeah and ya know something ScubaDoo, the part of the trail leading to Lake George we we're getting hung up in before, was dried out now and looked like silly little humps. Casey and I were in some crazy stuff this time and there were no issues with either of our trucks...i mean when I had my hubs locked that is...lol.

We are looking forward to getting jermil01 out there and testing the "hull" of his rig...

89Bronco302....thanks for the pm's bud...all is good. Looking forward to seeing your azz out there next time though...don't make us come get you.
