hey someone should call or email next week up to Hardrock and make sure the park will be open Sat. the 19th and that campfires are allowed...

they have been getting similar rain patterns to ocala...and ocala is swamped up...Hardrock does have mud pits and crawls....and the obstacles are just a bit tougher with some mud in them...

I emailed them the other day but haven't heard anything back..

just got an email back, so we can camp anywhere, I sent another email to find out about fires.... stay tuned.

hook ups are first come first serve, primitive you can camp any place you like, except buy the water in the offroad trails area.

regarding camp fires

as long as you can keep them contained,(rock fire ring) there is wood just about everywhere here, but you can bring your own then the search is over

Tommorow I'm hanging more gutters, then mowing Thursday and Friday.
In other words if you're wondering what a truck that hasn't been cleaned in several months, is due for an oil change, was packed in a panic in the span of half an hour, and has recieved almost no prep for the trail it's sitting on looks like then you're gonna know.
Hint: it's a mess.

I'm bringing burgers, who wants some?

hey riders, final check of our timing and communication...

- Hardrock opens at 10:00 am, but I am asking everyone to try and be there closer to 9-ish so that we can talk and meet for awhile before going in...we need to group up tighter...get some pics, check rigs, etc.

- Hardrock is $25 to ride in and $10 to camp in...

- The weather is looking like partly cloudy/ with a possible shower but it shouldn't be bad with the hit and miss showers that have been occuring.

- For those camping, please try to bring some firewood. There will be plenty of food...I am bringing Ball Park franks and some chili...sounds like pfun41 is bringing burgers (I will take one casey)...normally our camps include plenty of grub.

It would be good for anyone coming that isn't in the Ocala crew's call circle to contact somone ; jermil01, pfun41, digger159, ANGELO, or 89bronco302 ...get cell contact so we can keep track of everyone and know if anyone has troubles...

I look forward to seeing everyone at Hardrock, old friends and new...

Looks like I'll probably get there around 9:30..give or take ..for dinner I'm going to get some sausages from publix, and some donuts or something for breakfast..will need to have something for lunch too...

what is the policy on adult beverages? obviously you can't have it on the trail, but did it say anything about at the camp site??

looking forward to seeing you all this weekend.should be a good time.

I'll try to be early, I want to take my time driving this go around. I don't know their rules but I know people that ride bikes there and when they camp at night they bring adult beverages and build fires. Probably ok I'm thinking.

I'm taking my time too..this is the farthest I'll have driven the Bronco in about 8 years..

didn't see anything on the site about adult beverages so you're probably right.

Really? Isn't Ocala farther?

I had contemplated bringing an atv along, but I'll be too busy to ride it, and I doubt the trailer would do well offroad.

Have fun.

78.5 for me.

Do we have half an idea how many people want burgers so I know how many to bring?
Also chairs, everyone remember to bring chairs, I can't carry 15 of those bastards around all day.
I've got spare U joints.
