I thought about it.

It was a 2000 xlt 4x4 5spd with the 4.2. I had 33" Toyo Open Country ATs with 16x10 Centerline Hellcat wheels, which oxidized after the first winter on the truck.

Thinking about putting in a locker in the rear. Anybody got any experience in this? I've never done one and I really don't want to mess it up.

You have that L/S rear, so I think there are a couple more steps or parts you need.

1996 Ford Bronco Eddie Bauer 5.8/E4OD EFI
1993 Ford F-150 Custom 5.8/E4OD EFI
1993 Ford F-150 XLT 5.0/E4OD EFI
1979 Ford F-150 Custom 5.0/4speed

I was thinking it should be as simple as pulling the whole thing out and slapping the ring on a detroit locker, put it back in, shim it up, add fluids and presto! I think I know how to set up lash but I would just feel more comfortable if someone who knew what he or she was doing wanted to hang out and make sure I was doing it correctly.

I think a rear locker, and a winch would keep me happy for a few years.

I picked up some dirty 15x10 Eagle Alloy 589 wheels last night. I'm thinking about painting them white and putting them on my bronco. Currently I have steelies that used to be white and are more the color of rust now. There are too many trucks with black wheels already. What do you guys think?

I'm now leaning toward polishing them. I'm down to polishing them or powder coating them white.

Sounds like a really nice Bronco. Put some pics up when you get the chance.

Want to unload the soft top? :)

The yellow cap smells like fuel on the inside.

I'm bringing an old thread back to life. Anybody still here in Nebraska?
I've had a '91 F150 SCSB 4x4 for years and just sold it after picking up a '96 EB Bronco.

'96 Eddie Bauer Bronco, leather, 5.8L, 3.55 LSD, Bilstein 4600's, DC XC 33x10.5x15, K&N stock replacement, 460 intake tube.
They call me Dave.

Got a 96 white XLT 5.0 here in Lincoln. Just wondering if anybody around the area has got a bikini top they're lookin to give up. They're just a little too expensive to order for me.
