Yo, home-sweet-home....Wichita here also. Can't wait to get a Wichita round-up and go do some wheelin. Just got back into the Bronc after about a 1yr hiatus. This stupid college thing, oh yeah----and the 2 speed AOD has got me limited (dumb tranny doesn't like spinning w/ no fluid, somehow burnt out 3rd and 4th). Got major plans in the making. Right now working on affording a new tranny and a 351w-to-stroker. Keep on wheeling.

There are mining strip pits all over southeast kansas...a few of them are open to the public...I just don't know which ones. Be careful with the strip pits though....what looks like solid ground could sink you right up to the floorboards!!!

I'd be up for that, I'm always up for ROAD TRIPS !!!. Proly a stupid question, but is there alot of good wheeling W of Salina? I'd wheel this whole dang state if my Bronc would let me. I need another month or so before my ride will be ready. And yes, so far I think you are the farthest W person!!!! We need to get some local action (and state wide) going. Time to put a face to all our silly posts!

hehe....

There's my face

And...there is wheeling out here, It's called Cathouse...

http://www.heartlandoffroad.org/

It's about an hour west of me, to give you reference, and i'm 100 miles west of Salina, etc, etc...

it's a cool place to wheel, ihavent made it out there yet, but i have been to Tuttle. Tuttle is more trails, and some powering up hill stuff, fun, but, yea. Cathouse is more "Extreme" sorta stuff, lockers are more needed, and articulation is a MUST, and...you get to see narrow jeeps flo alot

also check out TK and KK..for wheeling places
