Let's plan a 7 Mile trip!

Pepe' and I were talking about it yesterday...

We figured we would throw it up on here and see if we can get any other locals to come along...

Lets start throwing out some ideas for dates and see what we can put together!

alright... so, that's 3 of us.

whatever happened to that kid in the big grey Bronco that showed up one afternoon? would be cool to see him make it up.

any of those military boys lurking about would be welcome to show up too.

I'm jazzed to see how these new tires will do out there... assuming it's open. conditions in the park might be too sloppy wet to let us in right now.

if we can get in... I'd be game for this weekend, either day can work for me. I will be busy the first weekend of Feb.

so will you Zen.

Slo...I know its Wa. State, but I think they allow babies at seven mile.....
If we do it this weekend, it'll be another ride-along for me...but I'm still in, even if `Pepe is jazzed ..

7 Mile is a local ORV park west of Spokane.
I've only been out there in a 4x4 a few times, most of the times i've gone out i've been on a Dual sport motorcycle...

No big plans this weekend either, so I'm open, and yes, I know were busy the next weekend Pepe :-)

Sloride... ya big baby! wait... you said babies? I thought you just had one. Would be great to see you but understandable. Maybe next time.

Rick... you're welcome to ride along. I'll keep my jazz-hands to myself.
It's either this or I'm going sledding with strangers, so... ORV PARK, here we come.

So what day... SAT or SUN?

edit add: just a heads up... I've got some family drama coming my way when Mom gets back to town tomorrow evening. Some horrible shit to deal with, so my weekend plans may just hit the dumper if I'm needed or... end up in the gray bar hotel. We'll see. No further details here, sorry.

Heh, good point, Rick. But ya see...playing mister mom is why my bronco is up on jack stands, no time to get it up and running. And Pepe, ya, I guess only one of the four is a "baby" (9 mo)...did I mention we've got another on the way? Yup! So, my time available for fixing the bronco, much less taking it for a weekend trip, is slim! We're just trying to do our part to "make America great again", hahaha! So I'm good (for now), with putting the bronco on the back burner... Such is life.

But hey, Pepe, once the weather turns and you head down to the HD shop you gotta let me know!

I understand, slo...good to see a man with his priorities straight

I was by 7 mile yesterday..man it looked sloppy and nasty ....hopefully it'll be that way when we can all make it there.

Damn buddy... you better wrap or snip or something. This ain't the 1900's. You trying to start your own child labor farm down there?
Time sure flies... I remember meeting up with you, fresh baby, new transplant to WA and all. You take your time... it flies by too fast when it comes to the shorties.

Actually prefer that shop to the Lame Wolf Stealership we have up here, so I will let you know. It's a nice afternoon ride, so count on it happening some time this summer.

Did you see if it was actually open? Any rigs running amok?
Great time of the year for puddle jumpin'... assuming my rig can handle the water.

Maybe in a couple weeks. My b-day is coming up this Feb. Maybe sometime closer to that.

damn shame guys. I'd try to talk you into it anyway... but the truth is, 7 mile really isn't worth all the effort.
It's nice to have but other than a solid place to meet... I'd rather tool off up into the mountains.

Yeah, 7 Mile isn't really a destination place. What it is good for is testing out upgrades, and meeting others to plan real trips. Is anyone up for planning a late March / early April meet up? Any of you new West side guys are welcome too...as well as Idaho, Montana, Oregon and B.C..... Not California though.

No Cali boys eh?

I'm down like a clown for something like that. I just wish I knew of some better wheelin' spots. I've got some serious trails up where I snowmobile above Priest Lake, but that might be a bit far for ya'll.

Ever been to McCroskey over in Idaho?

https://parksandrecreation.idaho.gov/parks/mccroskey

I've been over there on the dual sports.
Some fun roads and there are ways to get there on forest service roads for a majority of the way.

"Skyline Drive is an 18-mile long unimproved road that rises through dense cedar forest and ponderosa pines to spectacular vistas of the rolling Palouse prairie. The road provides access to 32 miles of multi-purpose trails for mountain bikers, hikers horseback riders and all-terrain vehicles (ATVs). The road is not safe for large RVs or trailers and it may be too rough for your family car, but if you've got a suitable rig and are willing to explore, you won't be disappointed."

Love that description.
