There appear to be two Broncos you can scavenge the rear glass from in Pick N Pull yards near you - one was just put out on the yard yesterday.

Row52 | 1990 Ford Bronco at PICK-n-PULL Tacoma 1FMEU15H5LLA53760

IIRC, for complete compatibility (including reusing your potentially existing tire carrier) you're stuck with 80-86 for your truck. I believe that you can swap wiring and such over and physically bolt-up and use the 89-96 tailgate, it's just going to look different and it doesn't have the two hole reinforcement bracket for the 80-86 tire carrier striker, it will have a three hole one so you'll either have to swap carriers or have one hole left over if the other two holes somehow line up. I could be wrong, so I suggest you check with others on this.

Doing just the glass is no problem; I could walk you through it.

That's fine. I can send you instructions in a PM, which you can pull up if you have a smartphone. Even if the window's up, you can still move it down if the regulator in the donor truck is FUBAR. It's what I had to do to Eddie when I first got him. Easy peasy lemon squeezy.

So, have you decided how you want to proceed?
