Purchased in Kent, WA off Craigslist for $500.
Doesnt current run, I suspect that the fuel pump is seized. I'm still tracking down where the fault is, but it has power through the inertia switch. I cant currently get C441 at the tank separated. Gonna have to drop the tank and clean it I suspect.
It looks to have been parked in 2006/2007. Last licensed in 2006.
It's a completely bare bones '96XL with 302/5spd The only option it looks like is A/C. The PO obviously cared a great deal, and they were in the process of completely customizing it but it was broken into several times.
Damage from the scum of the earth:
Stolen ash tray
Stolen dash trim panel
Cut hood release
Stolen secondary CAT (cut out)
Drilled out and punched doorlocks
Drilled out and broken off ignition (screw driver key anyone?)
And here is the oddest one.... rear brake line cut and clipped together to appear as if it was still attached.
Looks like minor rust in the bottom of the doors and surface rust on the frame, but clean other than that.
Now, I just have to tear down my '96XLT and transfer the parts I want to keep. That's gonna be... "fun" I hate mud.
