91 Silver anniversary

Have a cance to buy a 91 Bronco silver anniversary. 351 auto. push button
4x4(hate that). Some rust not horrible but totally fixable. leather interior. seats need to be recovered. runs and drives. new gas tank, exhaust, recent tune up and battery. Runs and drives nice. 1,000.00 is his asking price. Sound good? bad? what makes a silver anniversary a silver aniversary?

1966 + 25 = 1991

Not a bad asking price for a running truck.

The fact that it was the 25th anniversary of the bronco at the time, 1966-1991.. the color, currant red, and the red/grey leather interior. Might be other things I failed to mention.

According to this article, only 3000. I don't know if that is the gospel truth or not.

the very first bronco with leather. They were really nice trucks for their time (91).

The transmission on it is $1800+ to rebuild, so make sure it shifts good. (e4od is the transmission)

If the drive train is decent I would choice the silver ann. over another bronco. I like the red/ chrome look with the red trim and I think the interior is the cat's ass.

That grab handle is NOT supposed to be there. The vent visors are OK, but the bug shield is a cheapo. I hate moon visors.

The red bumper trim is unique. So is the red owner's manual cover, & the B-pillar badges (those things are HEAVY!).

$1000 seems a very fair price if there aren't any major issues. let us know what happens.

basically the whole truck is a normal bronco except for the leather, emblems, and everything is Porno Red save for the Chrome. Oh and watch out the emblems are stolen a lot.

Well closer inspection. The rockers where they meet the floors are rusted with a few spots going through(couldnt tell with doors closed) and where the rocker meets the quarter in that little pocket its rusted. also rust above the rear wheel wells. All thats fine and dandy, I could fix that. BUT I test drove it and the transmission shifts real hard. Like it kicks. I think it may need a rebuild. So that really sucks for me because I dont have that kind of money. The top is in awesome shape. rear window rolls up and down flawlessly. power windows and locks work great. push button 4x4 works. new gas tank. all emblems and all that are there. even the special floor mats.

The owner of a western shop in San Jose has one. Kinda a cool thing but ive never been one for porno red interiors. But id like to get hte badges off of it just for the hell of it.
