I found a surprising number of errors in the '94 EVTM in the areas that I had problems, especially the power locks/RKE area. Just be aware that the EVTMs could be wrong, which just adds to the fun of these old trucks.
Good Luck with your project!

last few days waiting on parts, but i did get the rest of my new frame chassis savered, i also ran all new brake lines, installed my rear most cross member, reinstalled my fuel tank (waiting on a new pump to convert to a 1995 style, my bungs for my O2 sensors came in and still need to be welded in place to accomadate for the OBDII swap. the whole underside has been chassis savered and then i used permatex bed liner over that 2 coats. next is to get the oil pan water pump, alt bracket installed, install the airpump bypass AC by pass do a tune up and install the flywheel and pilot bearing for the manual transmission

if i can get that all done next week then by the weekend i should have the engine transmission and body installed on the frame, get all the wires hooked up rad support on and i should be able to get it running by next sunday then it will be finding all the issues that its going to have from swapping over to OBDII

well an update on the 1996 obdII swap, engine is in, trans is in, transfer case is in, body is back on the frame and all the mounts allowed the bolts to drop in with a little work. tonight i ran the wires over the engine to see if my harness under the dash would allow it to crank and it did, i have spark but no injector firing, im assuming at this point is a ground issue because the only the main harness was grounded not all the little grounds around the engine bay and under the dash. so i will post more updates as they come along, tomorrow will be bedline the rad support so it can be mounted and i can install the radiator add coolant and attach all the grounds

but i did pick up this little gem over the weekend shes a bit of a diamond in the rough but its a truck i have allways wanted

give us a thread in the General Discussions. It's where I often go to post pics or get help with my '73 F250.
if it weren't for Bronco's, that would be on my preferred pickup list.

The bed is '80-and-up. I have as my wallpaper a shot of the 1978 New York Auto Show Ford truck display, and the older round-fendered Flareside bed design is what was used. I may have long ago posted it to here, I'll have to check.

nice i sent you my e mail i thing that the 80s bed fits these trucks better i'm pretty sure that that other than the fenders the sides are the same there kinda hard to find but auto fab makes fiber glass ones, but tonight i picked up my fuel injectors then i dumped some gas down that carb of that old truck hooked up a jump box and she fired right up. after a few taps to the starter relay.

That's always good. I got a few things done to Babe, my '79 Ranchero GT, and have been driving it while the Exploder awaits injectors.

well it was a long weekend, but i got my bronco out the door under its own power, its not road ready yet but its under its own power, the list of what i did is too long to type but the list of stuff i need to do is not so over whelming now,

i need to bleed the clutch again, install bumpers, put my dash back together, but the huge plus is that i finally got to drive it today
http://www.supermotors.net/getfile/1...e/img_9154.mov

the last few weekends ive been slowed down on my project helping a buddy work on his in the same bay as my project... will never do that agian! he has been helping me through this whole process but he is a puddy buddy. he has learned alot about owning an older vehicle. he has an 73-85 chevy, he rolled it when he was 17. brought it here (to nantucket) with a new cab, no bed, before he rolled it he put a 350 in it , swapped in a sm465 trans mated to a np205. about 6 months ago he locked up the rear end (pin fell out after the keeper bolt sheared off while driving and shut the whole motor down in a sudden jolt) we found him some 3/4 ton 8 lugs instead of rebuilding his old axles he had some stupid chevy gear ratio. so every thing was fine he bough new bed sides put them on painted it , installed his own 6" lift kit, bought 35's to put on it. so heres where it all snowballed to hell

2 weeks ago he was helpin me out he wanted to put on his new rims and tires so i said pull it in. he got the wrong lugnuts, so we were leaving and he called me and said he blew up his tranny so we towed him back to the shop and called it a night, so that weekend we pulled the trans and it was fine we pulled the bell housing and found the center of the clutch had stripped out
well while he waited for a clutch to ship he pulled his oil pan and found a drip of coolant running down the inside of the block.
so he ordered an intake/ head gasket set... well now this friday night we pulled the intake and heads off, found the failed gasket. while he was cleaning it up i was looking over the heads and found his number 7 valve peaned over and the rocker destroyed

couldnt source a set of heads of another engine this week end but it really slowed my progress down. but its almost done

Started out replacing rims and wrapping up replacing heads after a pitstop at the clutch? Talk about mission creep :)
