Very crappy day today....

Since we didn't have bolts, we have to get up at 6 tomorrow to run to home depot and get like 20 bolts for the front and back so we can assemble this thing.... Right now we have all the holes drilled to 1/2 inch so its just a bolt on and get it done day. We got the ball joints in, actually my brother did... we had the tool backwards and fought with one ball joint for like 3 hours, he came over and did all the ball joints in a half hour..... i guess that makes up for me and him not being able to get the C clip out of the auto hub.

Also, after a ton of running around for a pitman arm puller, we bought a "front end service kit" and three 3 arm pullers from harbor freight, broke 2 pullers and the 3 arm ones were all to big.... so I'll have to keep the stock one on til i can get to the shop....

Anyways, hopefully we can get everything on time and get this TTB back together smoothly, since i have no idea what im doing with that. Then its the shackle flip rear, and off to the shop for an alignment and a pitman arm.....

You have a cut off wheel? Just cut a slice in the pitman arm and put a chisel in it and smack it with a hammer. Be sure not to cut the sector shaft(is that what its called?). I've only done this once and it took about 5 minutes and only one tap with a hammer.

the shop I go to has a good tool, i'll just let them deal with it as they have to replace a few things anyways and do an alignment....

at this point i just want it together enough to roll, and thats what im shooting for this week...

It's not that bad, the ttb is bolted in, you just have to put the axle shafts out back in.
