I like it. I want to do one in metal flake camo just for fun. I found a place for all sorts of colors in metal flake Yes I may have a problem.

You should see it in person , it looks good.It actualy doesn't even look like one, its the humps on the hood and the angle of the pic.

I wasnt planning on it but I guess I could, the camo paint should look flat. Will clear coat make it shine? I also dont want to have to repair more paint than I would have to after taking it through the woods. BTW I have about 95% of the stuff I need to get my SAS going and I am so ready to go and break some sh!t!
Should I clear coat it?

Flat and satin clear coats are available and are a lot less shiny then the gloss. It will help the to make your paint job last longer and look better.
I would use a spare fender or hood to test it out on first so you can be sure its the look you are after.
Your hood will be a great conversation piece for yrs to come!lolThe camo does look great.

Thanks navynuke,if I do repaint I will be in touch.
There is ice and snow on my truck at the moment, well for another 7-8 months anyway.

I will give it a shot, I would say the satin clear would be the best way to go. Wouldnt I need to do a bunch of wet sanding before and after a clear coat?
I would like to see someone do a snow camo paint job, that or even a fall camo.

They posted it in my rust rerpair thread I did, I dont realy like the stencil jobs as much. To each his own, if we all like the same crap it would be a very boring world we live in.

Got some more painting done to the bronco and I also hung the Bronco emblems back on the fenders for the first time in over a year. I am very pleased with how this is turning out, just a little more on the roof and tailgate, wet sand it a little and I will say she is finished for now. I might do a satin clear coat a little later but for now I am going to focus on my axle swap.

Just a little touch up to do here and there to.

Man that really came together nice! If you plan to keep the camo image definitely use some clear coat or it will fade fast. I just sold my F150 camo and everytime I washed it, not often, it would fade & thin out more & more. It would leave paint all over the towel & rub marks on the panels. If you want it to look flat use the flat primer but I wouldn't use anything more than a satin clearcoat so that it doesn't look too shiny...mine looked the nicest when it rained or was washed & still wet! -Kevin-

Im not painting none of that, I do have another grill and header pannel w/ all the lights that is black and some mirrors to match but I am going rock out the chrome for a while. I think it looks good like that, I can swap it around if I change my mind though.

I do plan to do that just not just yet.

Thanks for all the kind words guys, it is a lot more work to do this than I had thought it would be. I cant wait to have it done. I hope to get the paint done tomorow and have it touched up and sanded down. I would go mess with it tonight but I am way to tired, the wife got me up at 2:30 this morning to go shopping.

Got the camo done today and had to take the bronco out to play a little.

Brother Dave posing by the bronco.

Dave posing again.

Then I showed Dave how to work the camera.

He even took a little video when I went thru a couple little ruts.

The bronco back in the drive way.
