What is your clearance like between the 33 gallon gas tank and the rear axle? I have a similar build but I went with a newer body and a flat bed. I kinda want to flip the springs but don't want to redesign the rear suspension or buy another tank, mine is a couple years old. I kick myself for buying the 33 when I replaced it. How much length did it add to the wheel base? I see were you said your rig is 110" long but you moved the front axle too. Keep up the good work. Also, if your wiring is to screwed up, speedway motors has full "painless style" wiring harnesses for around $160.00. Worth every penny, I have the 12 circuit but have not installed it yet. Super high quality for the price.

Here is the best Pic I have with the 33 gallon tank in there. I"m probably not going to run it because it sticks to far up and I didn't want to do a big body lift to clear it. I'm probably just going with a 19 gallon truck tank.

So with the factory tank in the stock location flipping the springs moves the axle back and the tank is not in the way of the axle at full compression?

with mine the springs would have had to go inverted to tuch the tank but it depend on the amount of lift you have

Yea, I don't mind how much it sticks up. I don't like the down part. Although my hitch fits around and would be just as low. The 19 fits between the rails. I had one but went with the 33 back when it was a bronco. Did you have to have a driveshaft made for the rear and how long did it end up to be? My truck would look so much better with the springs flipped.

I haven't gotten to the point of haveing a drive shaft made but I know I will have to have one made. I gett some mesurements for you but they will probaly be way difrent being mines an 80's frame and I have a 10.25 rear.

Made a little bit of progress, every thing other than the hood is reddy to paint. I hate body work and I know i'm going to the first time I get custom tree pin striping. I also got my power steering pump to head adapter made now I just need to get my spacers shortended. Also added somthing new to the stable.
