damn shame it's not ready to rock Phill. Moyai and Chewelah MudBogs on Mothers Day.

still... anything worth doing is worth doing right and that takes time.
Look forward to seeing this thing rock some time.

Its a big update but not a big one. Sprayed the bed with raptor liner, got it back on the truck now i'm doing a check list off things to get to drive it on the road, although I did drive it around the block, and now have a cuple more things to add to the list like a clunk that i'm not sure if its from the suspension or something else.

The rig is looking great Phill! You got any plans to meet up with us some time?
Noticed you've lost a good bit of weight since we last met too. Good for you!

I'll try to meet up like if we do an easy ride that you guys were talking about having the 4x4 isn't going to happen until I can afford gears and lockers as of right now the rear is 4.11 front is 3.55 so that doesn't work i just brakes stuff. I kinda spent gear and locker money on coilovers, so i could drive it so i'm just staring at it in the garage for another year, so it's kinda a poser big gay truck mall crawler...... until I do gears I can at least drive it and that what counts.

Just finished reading through the entire thread and, wow, this thing is a work of art. I love bumpside Fords and your truck turned out great!

I would have stuck with traditional leaf springs all around, but you can't argue the performance improvement your linked suspension provides.

Great, great, restomod!

The leafs rode nice when it was a Bronco but the Lincoln like ride now is worth it. Been driving it once or twice a week to work or just playing on back roads loving every minute of being in this thing.

figured it was update time / pic whoring, drove the hell out it enjoyed every moment. I've taken it back apart to fix a few issues like I broke my motor mount and I didn't like how it was set up, also just couldn't get my oil pan to stop leaking from the drain plug due to some one at some time smashed it in 3"+ I pounded it back out but it just didn't work. Also didn't like my trans support i built. Also wile ive got the trans out I put in white trash shift kit witch consist of 1/8" drill bit 3 carb check balls and 13 pennies also changing out the J apply lever witch belongs behind a 6 cilnder not a big block to an FF one and going from an S servo to a P, so all in all it should bounce my head off the rear glass when i shift.

The truck i'm parked next to has what i think is a 4" suspension lift and 3" body lift.

some new to me wheels and tiers I almost feal bad for the guy who bought my irocks I paid 250 for them he paid me almost 800 for a set of 14 year old 30% tread tiers. Did some work for the h1 recentered 12 bolts and the tiers are from trail worthy fab

Some new tube work

new oil pan

This is what happens when you take some tube cut some notches in it then forget to tack it in and you smack it with your had later on this was be for the black eye showed up, probably would have been worse if I hadn't been wearing my glasses.

now that i'm home I will fix this post.
Good comparison between the ff lever and j lever.

more steering box bracing haven't had a problem and don't want a problem

boxing tying my upper and lower link mount points together and to my replacement body mount xmember. I'll probably do the front in a similar fashion but wanted to wait until my upper mount for the front shows up figured wile i was this far in its not that hard to add it now just in case.

well tore the front end down for rebuild king pins were worn out so wile it was apart I plated the knuckles I don't plan on beating it hard enough to brake them but at the same time I don't want to have to have in in the back of my mind when doing something stupid.. Also been working over time so got some stuff for the front end rebuild. I'm hoping that the over time will continue so i can get gears and lockers and new headers.

used cad "cardboard aided design" to build my knuckle gussets. Even painted them orange so I can look like I spent big money.

New 3 link front.
