Remember that LEDs are polarity sensitive, make sure you have the polarity correct.

Hey, were you on the I-5 overpass on 128th last night, around 9? I went whizzing past a Bronco I really didn't get a good look at, but it had the topper sliders and a brush guard like yours did.

My oldest son and the Bronco. I let him drive it from the shop to the house (100 yards or so). He thinks I'm giving it to him when he turns 16
