Looking to start a thread for feed back on next portion of '78 project

Being that I am new here and am not sure of the rules and regs for this site, just want to ask a quick question. I want to start a thread asking for input in regards to what possible directions to take my '78 project in. Ive been mulling around a few ideas and would like to tap into all the knowledge that this site has and see if maybe I am missing something or might even change the direction I take my rig. I know enough to really get myself into trouble and would like to tap into some more experience than I currently have out here. Thanks

The newbie category is for you!... And for me...

It's the catch all category for anyone with a somewhat vague or undefined subject. As an added bonus, it's a flame-free zone, which is great for me as I ask a lot of ridiculous questions.

If you want, I'll move this thread to the General Discussion/ Bronco and Wheeling related. - Ford Bronco Forum area and you can talk about the whole project, casually.
This area tends to be used better for specific questions on target issues. Just let me know. I'll check back later.

Biker Pepe - that sounds solid brother. I just wasnt sure as to where or how to get the thread started. After it does get moved, I plan on putting down the cuerent state/equipment of the rig, what I am thinking as far as next couple moves, and the for suggestions. Ive seen some guys get some pretty awesome ideas and connections on how to get it done from this site. I actually got the idea to get my Red Head steering gear box from another guys project thread about 2 years ago when I was just browing through. Finally decided to member up. Thank you.

Thanks Schwim. I anticipate I will be doing my fair share of time in the flame free zone too!

done deal. welcome to FSB and rock on with your bad self!

let's hear it and get pics. pics ftw!
who knows... with the right direction and 27+ posts, we could end up moving it to a build thread.
the possibilities are... well, there are some.

be sure to include your end goals for the rig. daily driver, weekend wheeler, crawler, mudder, hunting rig, etc.
really makes a difference on some key things as you plan your build up and what advice you'll get.

Looking forward to this. I'm on phase 2 of my 78 build so it'll be fun to compare and I (and most of us) can tell you what's money well spent and money wasted based on your intentions.

Hated to leave you guys hanging on the photos and project plans but a 105 degree fever and a trip to the hospital put the brakes on all plans I had for this week. The brain was seriously baking to the point that I felt like I was in a dream 24/7 for about 4 days. I have now returned to reality and will have some photos up and the plans running by tomorrow!
