JBG 79 Bronco no Mobsteel

Did anyone happen to see the Jeff's Bronco Graveyard 79 Bronco rebuild on History Channel's Mobsteel auto restoration program last night. Jeff had a 79 Bronco restored as a flip by a Detroit restoration group by the name of Mobsteel. It was a 2 part episode where they built it first, didn't like the final result, and then redid it again. A lot about the history of JBG and his toys.

Fix it, or fix it so someone has to!

Other than those god-awful wheels, I don't mind it. The wood grain would have been better with a different color than orange, maybe a sage green.

And are those supposed to be wakeboard speakers on the back of the roll cage?

Yes, that's pretty popular now in the rock crawling crowd.

Ive seen his intro post, but didn't think they were supposed to be for the guy behind you... Why do they need to hear your music? Seems dumb to me. Turn those puppies around and listen to your own tunes, or go back to the mall is what I think.

...but to each their own I guess so long as ibdont have to hear their Justin Beaver crap

LOL! Yes I agree!

The ones I've seen in actual use are pointed to the front. Even those, in my opinion, if too loud, can be annoying.

Nice truck. Don't like the color tho. The wheels really suck! And there is nothing worse than having to listen to someone else's shitty music! Like going to the carwash! I'd be too embarrassed to drive it! It's a clown Bronco!

i really don't mind the woodgrain, think it looks like it is supposed to be there

Sometimes I see a vehicle that I'm really glad I don't have to drive. This is one of those times.

This is my signature. There are many like it, but this one is mine.
My signature is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life.

I just love seeing someone use a 78-79 as a canvas and not another 1st gen. That said, it reminds me of a high-end hipster restaurant's version of a "deconstructed dream-sicle". Though one that likes to party with those both-way speakers.

I'm hearing "Anyway you want it" and having a vision of Rodney Dangerfield's golf bag being replaced by this Bronco on the course. I must say, it works equally well.
