FSB user 90Bronco351 cheated me

For-sale thread

__________________________________

I sent 90Bronco351 $635.00 on 8/5/09 through paypal for the 4" lift. That price included shipping, and 1.5% to split the PayPal fee. But the lift still hasn't arrived.

We negotiated the deal over PM's on here, and he even gave me his cell number if I had any questions. He said that he still needed to get the lift off of his truck, and that he would pack it and ship it no later than a week after I sent him the money.

Unfortunately for me, I trusted him. Throughout the process he gave me a bunch of crap about the bolts being welded on, having a ton of stuff at work, and his girlfriend being pregnant. I was in no hurry to get the lift, as I was headed to school for the semester, and so I gave him TOO much grace.

Finally, he said that he had sent it through GreyHound Package Express. (Shipping ?'s thread). He said that it would take up to 6 weeks, and that the local greyhound station would call me when it arrived. Well I called and called them, and they had no package. I let him know of this and he seemed puzzled as well.

Another few weeks down the road, he called and said that GreyHound had called him, saying that the package was back at the station where he lives, and something had gone wrong.

SO two weeks ago, he called and said that he sent it through FedEx, but that the tracking number was at work. I tried calling and texting him numerous times, and he won't return my calls. I haven't talked to him since he "shipped" it, two weeks ago this past saturday.

So I google searched his name, and email. Turns out some others on different discussion boards have had the same problem. Users on the other boards did some research and they posted his Name, Address, phone and various IM/forum usernames.

Shame on me for putting up with this much BS. It's 100% my fault for letting him run this long.

Now I'm left with $100 to my name, trying to figure out what to do. I filed a complaint with PayPal, but its out of their 45 day period for refunds. I filled a complaint with www.ic3.gov, but that will go nowhere. Anybody who has experience with small claims court, feel free to give me some advice. I don't even know where square one is. However, I have retained all emails in which we negotiated the deal, as well as the PayPal receipt.

_______________

All of this to say, don't deal with 90Bronco351, or his other username on here, 88351Bronco.

The End.

I just looked through all of the PM's, the last one was sent just outside of the 45 day period.

If you got his name and number find him and take $635 worth out of his ass.

If I can just get it out of here I can fix it.

yup, he was a huge asshole. He tried to sell me a 351 for cheap. Glad I disliked him enough not to take him up on it...

I'd love to. Surprisingly he's ignoring all my calls on first ring now. I think somebody might be lurking around here...

I'm not trying to be a duche, but if I were to take this to small claims, could post his info be a negative thing?
