Cool Hello Glad to be here

Hi everyone!

Just picked up my second Bronco! First one was an 87 Bronco II but we won't talk about that.:-(

The new one is a 79 Bronco Ranger XLT. With a 351m I think. I was told that it was a 400 but the sticker on the underside of the hood says 351m so that is what I am going with.

Sorry no pictures right now but she is pretty solid. Only issues right now are a broken tilt column knuckle and a back window that will not go up. No rust as I was told that she came from AZ.

Plans right now are to make her safe to drive by repairing or replacing the column and getting the rear window to work. After that slowly restore the interior.

Well that is about it for now. Just thought I would say Hi.

Welcome & congrats!

Without pulling the pan & checking the numbers on the crank, it is pretty hard to tell the diff between a 351m & a 400. Externally they use the same block.

As for tailgate window info, post 3 of this thread has some stuff. Link 3 in there has a wiring diagram for 78 & 79.

Well I thought I would post a picture or two of my other cars. They like my BKO are never done. Always something to work on.

Nice! I still have a soft spot for Mopars since my 1st car was a 68 Coronet R/T. The only car I wish I had never sold. Share more pics anytime!
