New Owner in NE FL - 1995 Eddie Bauer

Hey, my wife and I bought our first Bronco last week. It's '95 Eddie Bauer 4x4 with a 351. We both owned old 4x4s before we met, but she's been wanting a Bronco for a few years now It's going to be her daily driver and beach cruiser. We'll probably keep it mostly stock, but will seriously consider a soft top this spring.

It's originally a Florida truck, but it's also lived all over the east coast...so it's got a little rust on the wheel wells. It'd probably be a miracle if I found a pair of front fenders that were red & tan, but I'll probably swap the driver's side and repaint it myself in the next few weeks (it looks pretty rough). The steering has a little more play than I'd like, so that'll probably be addressed at some point as well.

Anyhow, I joined the forum hoping to find technical help with troubleshooting and ways to make our Bronco better. I'd upload a picture, but it looks like I can only link to a photo online...I don't see an option to upload.

Erik

Yo Erik,
Welcome!

FYI;
1995 Bronco Dealer Brochure

Check with local dealer to see if cruise control, if equipped recall for 94-96 Bronco, 94-02 F-150, etc. was performed, have VIN ready. "Summary: ON CERTAIN PICKUP TRUCKS, PASSENGER VEHICLES, SPORT UTILITY VEHICLES, AND MOTOR HOMES CHASSIS, THE SPEED CONTROL DEACTIVATION SWITCH MAY, UNDER CERTAIN CONDITIONS, LEAK INTERNALLY AND THEN OVERHEAT, SMOKE, OR BURN. THIS COULD RESULT IN AN UNDERHOOD FIRE."

For your Broncos questions, it is better to ask each seperately in Noobie Bronco Tech Questions. Flame free zone. This will get more attention and you can build up your post count to get into other sections such as Bronco and Ford Parts/Accessories (75 posts required to view).

welcome aboard. I would suggest Photobucket for pictures. Its pretty fast, and easy to use. We used to use Supermotors here, but the last couple of years their server has gotten slower than a pack of snails on the Salt Flats. But any photoserver site will work. You have some great people here in Florida and some nice places to ride near Ocala. As for finding a red/tan fender, that would be a tough one. Most junk yard broncos are Green/tan or just green. They must have made a gazillion of that color.
