Hi, first FSB

Hi folks. Picked up a '81 XLT on Sat'. Fairly good shape with a few cancer spots. Supposed to be a 302 4bbl and manual with granny. Will be making arrangement tomorrow to have it gone over with the proverbial fine tooth comb. Already have to clean the driveway due to a leak but could be worse. Looking fwd to checking out the info here.

Welcome! We sure have had a flurry of '81s around here recently; since you appear to have a membership, I believe you can post pics directly on the site, but I prefer posting off of Photobucket (another photo storing site) since I know my images will be backed up

THX guys. Got the details entered and have to wait until Monday to get it in for the fine tooth comb inspection.

Going to have to install side steps for sure.

Thank you sir. I'll know more latter this week after it's physical. From the receipts I found there was a whole bunch of money spent on it. The engine may well in fact only have about 25K on it. Hope springs eternal.
