dual vs single shock high lift

hey yall, jus finished my SAS swap. im using skyjacker f250 rear 8in softride leaf springs up front. been researching but cant find a good answer. should i go dual shocks up front or single? the springs are kind of stiff, but still have a good bounce to them.

dual shocks will help prevent shock fade but will cost more obliviously than a single shock setup.

might make the ride alittle too stiff. try 1 and see if its enough

havent done the sas swap but thinking about doing the same, pretty much cuz the buckets have seen better days and havent decided to reoplace with single or dual

get rid of those buckets and use use a 78-79 style buckets and F250 shock towers. the buckets add 3" of lift or so and the shock towers allow longer shocks and use a standard eyelet instead of a stud to mount the shock.

I always feel you are better off with 1 quality shock with proper valving than 2 crap shocks. If you are sticking to slow speed offroad driving, shock fade shouldn't be a big issue.

I run dual shocks on mine and love it. I have a 5" lift, SAS, superflex coils, Duff radius arms, BKG shock hoops and no sway bars

yea i might go with one fox racing air shock, they are adjstable to, but i heard that dual help lifted trucks without sway bars? like mine

hows the truck running without the sway bar?? i am considering taking mine out but get mixed reviews, some people say go for it some say never do it

It handles fine so long as you take a corner at the posted speed

well my truck isnt road ready yet, still in oricess, came with the sway bars but i dnt want them in, more fabbing and i want as much clearence everywhere as possible

this is my daily driver and i do a little bit of trail riding, nothing too rough though. but yea worse comes to worse it just goes back in
