blowed up my driveshaft

need to know what years will interchange with an 82 on a double cardan driveshaft. my h yoke blew a part in two pieces and damaged the end of the shaft and also the cv ball, so need a new set up. i'm a parts replacer not a tech. and this is the first time i have seen a shaft with 3 u-joints

Most any bronco with the same transfer case will have the exact same shaft. Mine is out of an 86 at the wreckers 10 yrs ago.
They all have the double cardan joints on the rear shaft.

Best bet is to get a new shaft from Jeffs Bronco

Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work- Thomas A Edison

if the tranny and transfer case are the same it should work. dont know if a donor from a truck with a 9" axle or 8.8" axle will change the lenght. if you have any lift or do hard wheeling might wanna find a driveshaft shop and get a custom one build thats stronger and perfect length

i bought a front DS from JBG and it works but it is very worn out and loose after a year. might nto be the best quality

I believe the yoke ends changed in the mid 80's. just don't remember the exact year.

all you have to do is take that off the u-joint. its called a companion flange. opposite of what i did which was putting a 96 axle in my 88 truck which i had to add the companion flange.
