Transfercase swap

Alright guys I know this has been covered before but im read answers that are contradicting each other so I figured I would ask.

Alright I have a 94 bronco I am converting to a manual bw 1356 tcase I have everything to do the swap.I got the tcase out of a 1991 bronco. What I need to know is on the rear output shaft mine is a flange and the other is a yoke. From what im reading they say I can switch it over but it will be loose or have some play?Is this correct?

Bronco Info: 94 C150 prerunner 351/zf/maf. To many mods to list.
Swap the whole output shaft with flange and you wont have any issues. Also swap the tail housing so you dont have to deal with the pre92 vss sensor.

It's not custom if you bought it from a catalog!
