So, if a guy was calling around town looking for a complete front axle to use for this conversion....

I need a Chevy 10 bolt, correct?

Is there a year range I want to stay in?

I think it's easier to just ask if they have any old late 70's K20's in the yard. You can't use the whole axle, you're just wanting chevy 8 lug outers, correct?

yeh, I understand the parts i need.

I dont have an issue buying the whole axle, if the price is right. I know I don't need it, but I'd like to start with it complete if i can.

I'd just to know what axle it is i'm looking for. Not even exactly sure what to search craigslist for.

I got all my outers off of a 74 chevy k20. Slapped on some new calipers and ball joints. Just remember now when buying brakes up front that your bronco is now a 70s chev hehehe
