4" Superlift on a 1990 Bronco

I just finished installing a 4" Superlift suspension lift on my 1990 Bronco. I thought others might enjoy looking at what goes into it. I tried to get the most details I could including the bolt/nut sizes needed to do this install. Feel free to let me know if any details were left out that I should include.

Speaking of rims, I must have accidently swapped my fronts durring the lift. I just noticed the front is reversed in the picture.

There's just something about a 4" lift on a 90 Bronco. I can't put my finger on it...

Well, maybe I can!

95 BXL, I like the way the 35's fit on the 4" lift. Mine is also an EB with a 351W. What gears are you runing on it?

My guess (and it's purely a guess) is that the gears are what it came with... The speedometer is around 15% off (low) and I'm doing 60 at 1300 rpm.

Gears are on the list, along with headers, cat back and FIPK.

very nice, it'll help ALOT with my installation of my lift, if my deal doesnt work out ive got right now..i may end up getting a superlift off of pirate, is that where u purchased this one? thanks for the sweet writup

also, your paint is too good to nuke it and go olive drab
http://www.camoclad.com/home.htm

go there and get taht stuff..then u can still keep your nice paintjob, and have the camo you wanted, for only like 1k lol, better than a professionally done paintjob at least

nice looking lift setup, also..what size tires are you currently running on there?

Joebob1901, I looked around and decided to get the lift from 4wheelerssupply.com. The price is a little bit higher than other places but a lot of them are in CA so buy the time you add tax and shipping it ended up being a little cheaper in the long run for me. They have a free shipping deal and no tax where I'm from. It also included the extended brake lines and shocks with boots.

The tires on the Bronco are 31 x 12.5 x 15 and don't have much meat left on them. I was thinking of getting the Super swamper LTB 33 x 13.5 x 15 but I am considering going to 34 or 35's. I will most likely need to get new gears with any larger tire since I have 3.55 now.

The paint is not that bad but the previous owner had a bad temper or something. There are a few large dents around the truck and he hit something with those ugly stock mirrors and dented the hell out of the passanger door.

Great info. I have a 90 as well and was thinking of a 4" lift with 33" tires and regear to 4.10

I would like to see a compare pic between a bronco with a 4" lift 35" tires and one with 6" lift and 35" tires.

Still undecided on which lift kit for my '93.

I would suggest 6" lift with 35" tires. The tires look a little too stuffed with just a 4" lift. I know people can fit 35" with a 4" lift but I heard they rub or need to trim to make them fit.
I plan on getting a 4" lift with 33" tires. That's my 2 cents.
