Scaring the upscale Yaletownites in Vancouver. Boy do I get the looks!

Fear and admiration :)

Heading north of Kamloops this weekend for my maiden voyage in the bush with "The Beast" for some scouting.

Was hoping to drive to Kamloops and canyon with my top down but was too lazy to replace the leaking water pump and timing chain. Can still to it but would need to bring some water with me lol. I guess will have to wait till next spring/summer plus my Journey is $120 in gas to and from while the Bronco would be $400

Bronco did well up at Adams Lake. Handled some nasty service mud roads. Did better on gas milage that I thought. 1 tank from north of Kamloops to Vancouver - 14.1 mpg.

Rear window now has an issue going back up :( -- any recommended metro Vancouver mechanics who deal with this type of repair?

Cheers!

A few weeks back I decided to see what the gas mileage was. Filled it up in Abby and drove to Yale past Hope on the 1 and then to Harrison and then back to Surrey. That was about 1/2 tank and about 260km+ I did try to keep the speed to 100-120 and keep the RPM down. I'm imagine on the 1 or Coq it would be worse because of the hills if I wanted to keep the speed.

I go the exact rims as VFX but with 35" tires.

There certainly is! Depends on the drive u want to make. Ill pm you some details tomorrow when i have time. Stave lake, squamish, vedder, Harrison. A few spots with more roads than u could cover in years. Stave east (Sylvester road) has a good mix of trials from average stuff crazy rock bouncer trails
