BLM CLOSED TURKEY CREEK

According to the BLM Turkey Creek has been closed. With the recent rains and now snow melt the creek continues to rise. The creek rose 12-16" From Friday to Saturday. they said the water has created holes 6 to 8 ft deep at certain crossings. we are currently looking for another trail to run near by the MnG location. If you have any idea for that area please let us know.

MEET n GREET 9.0
TIP TOP MINE

April 22nd 9-11 we are meeting at the Walmart on Anthem Blvd!

This is a easy trail in the Table Mesa Area & is by all right a Family friendly trail for all types of Broncos including Stockers as long as you have a working 4wd & good tires!
Here is a little History on the area!

Primarily a silver-mining town, it had a post office from August 12, 1880, until February 14, 1895. The town was founded after Jack Moore and Bill Corning struck a significant lode of silver in 1875.[2][3]

The nearby ghost town of Gillett was the original mill site for the ore from the Tip Top mine.

Tip Top at its peak had over 500 residents and was one of the largest towns in Arizona at the time.

Many ruins still exist in Tip Top today.

Tip Top is the setting for The Nightjar Women, the last story in the weird western anthology Merkabah Rider: Tales of a High Planes Drifter by Edward M. Erdelac.

There's slot more history but that's for you to research, before you go!

One final thing afterwards we will be stopping at the Roadrunner Bar n Grill for Burgers & Cold Beverages!

Does anyone know of any good 4x4 shops in the Tucson area? I need some fab work done for my SAS. Also playing with the idea of subbing out the work for the SAS since I've been working out of town so much.
