A fellow wheeler, Lee Torrey, is missing.

I this was e-mailed to me by Troy in ZOA. He asked me to post this here incase anyone runs into him out wheelin'.

I'm not sure if it's appropriate or not, but I was wondering if you could post something for a missing Zuks of Arizona member? His name's Lee Torrey and he left his house at 43rd and Cactus over the weekend or Monday in shorts, sunglasses and a t-shirt. He's 6' 4" and about 240lbs driving around in a black 88 Samurai with a large chrome push bar, chrome rims now and several yellow Line-X stickers. If he's out there, he should stand out.

I guess it's possible he didn't even go out wheeling as no one has heard from him. Here's a few posts from his wife.

Thanks,

Troy

We live at 43rd ave and Cactus cross streets. My phone is 602-327-8229 I'm not sleeping much call anytime. Lee didn't take anything with him but the sami. I have exsausted every possible contact. have filed a missing persons report/ went Nation wide yesterday. We went up to Lake Pleasant he's taken the boys age 11 and 12 there a few times. But didn't see anything. The boys didn't trust my driving skills. so we came home. He was raised out in Buckeye and loves the Whitetank area. His mother mention Aquafria Mt.??? I don't know where those are. We are LOST without him but he loves that sami. Please keep trying.

Thank soooo much.

Teresa

I'm in the Surprise area and will keep an eye out. If it hasn't been done already have check for a paper trail ATM uses, credit/debit purchases. If nothing else it can atleast give an area where he might be. We will be praying for a safe return.

This is a strange post...

A guy disappears and then the guy who reports the disappearance, he himself disappears also.

Wow that's weird. My buddy pulled something like this once he just tokk off in his jeep and didn't tell anyone. He was gone about a month we searched every sq. Inch of the desert and spots we been wheelin/shooting. He finally came home and said he just had to get away from everything. I spent probably 1000 bucks just in gas out looking for him. I hope this turns out good hate to see bad stuff happen to fellow offroaders.

do u know if it was recently used or torn apart or what?

Since I'm not familiar with AZ, how far is Woolsey Peak from Lee's home town? Are you able to get more info on this?

sounds to me like he just took off. He was missing for over two days before his wife found record of him using his debit card at a walmart.

Just because there was a debit card transaction doesn't necessarily mean that it was him that used it though. Did they have him on camera? Anyone can use a debit card, have it ran as credit, and forge a signature.
