Yeah, we've been talking about Caballo Peak for a couple of years now, the only problem is, none of us have been there and travelled the whole trail. I can get us to the east side of Caballo Lake, and the start of Apache Gap, but we might spend the day just wandering around until we find the actual trail, or the town of Engle, which ever comes first. I'd be game for that trip! But we have to agree on a date. February 25/26 I'll be out of the state, so you'll have to count me out then, but I'd loan you my GPS with the Apache Gap coordinates on it.

I didnt realize there were people on here from albuquerque. I would be willing to go somewhere in march. worked out cooling issues n that would be good time to see how well it all worked. do yall meet regularly?

There is a run every other month or so it seems. during the winter sure gets slow. We need more people like you that will log on and sign up on the forums here and we can build numbers.

Looks like March there will be a run, we could have a meet up before then and set up details for the run....
