OK, last hurrah today. I waxed her up and am going to hit the road, the mother road. A nice leisurely drive across AZ on Route 66 today. We'll see what kind of photo opportunities I bump into.

Despite the body damage I have inflicted in the last few years, she still cleans up pretty good!

Final post for me fo the contest and I think it pretty damned good!

We decided to take a little road trip today, we started off by going to Lake Mead, got a couple pics by the "beach" which is really where the rocks and dirt meet the water

A couple of shots my took while on the road

stopped at a couple little stores on the way to our final destination

Made our way down to Kingman Arizona and Route 66!!!

Met up with a fellow member here, you may recognize his rig...

Surprise

On the way home we stopped by the dam and got a few pics fo the dam and the bridge

Well that is all I've got, hope to squeeze out a couple more votes!

Thank you for the votes I have received, this has been a helluva good time!

Well you know how the story ends. Here is my last post as well. Raleigh and I have been neck and neck for weeks and started talking about meeting up. A little over 2 hours to meet in the middle.

Although a lot of it is touristy BS, there are tons of cool little Route 66 businesses between Flag and Kingman. The Route 66 grill and Harley Dealer in Bellemont AZ:

Historic Williams, 'Gateway to the Grand Canyon':

Some other cool old red Fords in Williams:

Before I got to the next town, Seligman, my fan cut into my upper radiator hose and we spent an hour and a half in an abandoned weigh station along I-40. The meeting was in jeopardy for a bit. But, $200 later and a truck repair outfit had a poorly fitting hose installed and I was back on my way.

Fortunately I carry essential fluids in my truck at all times for situations just like this:

Seligman is another cool little town that plays to tourists. Made a stop at the Roadkill Cafe:

And finally into Kingman and meeting up with Dave:

Dave is a great guy and brought along his beautiful family. His truck is stunning and shows a pride of ownership and craftsmanship that is undeniable. I am inspired to step up my own efforts. Thanks for letting me participate, I too had fun.

Guys I have to say everyone put on a damn good show this month!!!

raleigh - amazing build!! You have done a killer job on the Bronco man!

cstrike - Awesome Bronco! You have made some great changes on it man. Killer pictures and you look like you have a lot of fun with her.

wevie - Those mudding videos were awesome!!! I dig the rig man!

379sinvb - I dig the dedication you have for bring that rusted bucket of bolts bad to life. It really takes dedication, motivation, time, money, and heart to bring a rig like that back to life. I can't wait to see the finished product.

Deez-67 - shes clean and always looks killer man. Great job on what you have done!

I usually don't use the work "epic" but it may fit in this situation! Hell of an ending capped off by the 2 leaders meeting up for a photo session! You guys have raised the bar!

Great job by all.
