That bolt likes to strip the threads on the aluminum bracket so go easy when you put it back on.

sas!!

local shop (diesel tech and fab) did the sas on my truck. 4" lift but the coils are to stiff. they also fixed the power steering leak, but the company that made the custom hose screwed up and filled the line with solder, and that blew my pump. so i got a new saginaw pump and hoses for free. but it rides so much better then stock. theres alot less body roll and handles better on and off road. while he was doing the swap i also had the drip rail cracks welded up.

So, I've been on a wheeling and camping and fishing trip for 6 1/2 days! Sorry about not posting anything while there.

Family has a small patch of land in the Kiamichi Wilderness in SE Oklahoma. To get there, we have to drive on highways for a little over three hours. This puts us on a semi-paved road for 8 miles. Which brings us to the Ranger Station. Once arriving at the ranger station, we get to travel down 16 miles of very un-maintained modified logging roads.

This 16 mile stretch takes roughly an hour to travel if it's dry. If it's been raining, that hour turns to several hours and usually involves some winching.

In 6 days time I burned 5 tanks of gas and had to resort to my backup 5 gallon can once. On the Saturday of our trip my wife wanted to sleep and wet some hooks, so me and the dog took off for a little over 6 hours of unsupervised fun.

I'll post these videos as I get them loaded.
During this first video, we (dog and I) had made our way to the top of the mountain ridge. Flat land was comparatively smooth while some of the grades got rather hairy after recent rains washed out a lot of the roads. As I was looking everywhere but right in front of me, the dog started grunting. I looked up and there were around 20 turkeys crossing the road. If you watch closely you can see a few of them peeking out.

Sorry for edit, I didn't even realize when uploading Youtube videos they had a privacy setting.

This little clip is driving down one of the smoothest roads in the Kiamichi Wilderness while listening to one of the 3 radio stations. Sorry for bad filming, holding Iphone with one hand while driving a stick with the other.

That "first person" video cracks me up with the tunes singing along... "I was inside, looking outside..."

glad you showed back up DL. Look forward to "the show".

I was pretty bummed the last day knowing I was going to have to come back to reality. We were supposed to leave the night before, but I figured I had a little more time at work I could burn.

Currently working on getting you guys some pretty nice pictures uploaded.

This is the last of the videos I took while up in the mountains.

Hope you guys enjoyed these, if nothing more than to laugh at my pathetic recording abilities.
