So here's one no one else can possibly have, because I've only made one. I got tired of cutting my fingers on the piece of crap wally world steering wheel cover, so I made one.

All hand carved, dyed, and stitched leather.

This was my office view for several days last week.

And this is why I'm not a big fan of SE Oklahoma:

The math was too much to figure out what a tank of gas would cost.

Here's another view from the office window.

This one of my latest all time favorite photos. Faewen was getting hot sitting in the back seat with the ac just idling. I decided she could use a romp in the river.

Here's just another view of some of the roads.

This is Pappy Kirk Lake. Not very well known, unless you have land out there. Unfortunately, it is being slowly killed by some crap called "water shield".

I'll let the beauty of this majestic place set in a moment.

This where most of the road has wound up.

This "was" a fairly decent road many moons ago. Now, I have to walk it to pick a line, then make absolutely sure I don't waiver from my line. Faewen makes a really crappy spotter.

I just like this photo a lot, zero editing, posted as shot with my Iphone.

These are also where I found out that I broke my bumper mount somewhere on the trail.

Could have been here? Remember, I'm at stock height, stock suspension.

If I wasn't married, I could live up there.

These are exactly half of the four ladies I love (Bronco, wife, Faewen, Mamma).

The wheel and side mud came from the one mud hole I found in all them miles. The mud hole was so small, I had to hit it twice! Once with the left, then the right.

Now, I'll get to work uploading some of my mod pics. I have plenty more to come.

Then I took it on some trails the very next day and put some nice character lines down both sides, lol.

Angelo,
That run in January looks like it was some serious fun!

It's so hard to find mud around here.

And snow, really, I've heard rumors that there is this white stuff that falls from the sky and looks really pretty and is fun to go romping in. We get ice, ice everywhere.

So, today my battery system crapped the bed. Didn't even have enough juice to turn on the LED dome light! I yanked the batteries, tossed them in my old van, and headed to AZ.

Here's the old. Complete with my 1/0 welding cable leads. These things have bailed me out of some pretty bad situations, like leaving the lights on for a 10 hour work shift.

I didn't like how I had a strap holding the batteries down with no padding. I made a quick padded leather strap cover for my homemade strap. I also did a quick sand and repaint of my strap.

This is just a pretty decent pic of the battery tray I built when I still had my 90amp flux welder. I probably should've pulled it for repaint too, but, dang it was hot out today.

I had these laying around so I put new in here too.

Both my batteries showed bad cells. One was under warranty. I bought one and AZ bought one.

Here we are all bolted back in and firing off like normal again!

While we were on our last trip, I developed a nasty sounding rattle coming from the front right. With a little inspection, I determined it to be the the shock mount. I got new shocks for the front today, too.

Apparently, they were badly needed. This is the shock collapsed, by hand, where it stayed.

And extended by hand, where it stayed.

New and shiny, with no more rattles. I hate rattles with a passion.

I've got to do a few more things tomorrow, plus show you guys some more of my mods. I am constantly working on the Bronco, mostly because I enjoy it. Sometimes, because it needs it. And occasionally because I broke something.

I put up a video of the end result of my mirror mod. Now, I'll show you guys how I did it.

I had some individual leds in a baggy that I had originally bought to do something funky to the Harley with. I had to replace my passenger side mirror because the arm had broke and it was flopping around and the driver's side because of broken glass. While waiting on new glass to come in, I got a little bored and started this. I bought black manual mirror bodies at a JY for cheap. Then with the glass off drilled my holes through the backing for the leds to go through. Then I drilled holes in the bottom of the mirror head for the led puddle lights. I then painted the black mirrors black.
The amber leds are 3mm, while the whites are 5mm. Each led has a 12v resister attached to it. When all the lights were in place I siliconed them to keep them in place and waterproof everything.

What I started with.

If you look hard enough, you can see where I marked the holes for leds here.

Here's what the puddle lights looked like just laid in.

Sorry this one is blurry, but it shows how factory the puddle lights look after install.

This is the glass backing after putting in the amber lights and silicone.

Might have gone overboard with the silicone, but the whole thing is waterproofed.

Here's the view under the glass. With the glass on, everything looks bone stock and factory.

This was a table test using the battery pack from a flashlight. When ran to 12v, they are a lot brighter.

This is what the glass looks like when the light is not on, like I said, factory.

Dang Matco! I want one of them fancy plasma cutters so bad!I'm a firm believer that every Bronco should have came with a welder, cutting torch, and grinder. The last one because my welds are ugly, lol.

Now, for a few more photos. These are just me driving the truck's owner around. She was pretty happy with some of the changes I made for her.

These are before the new headliner, too.

Anyhow, I gotta get out and work on the truck some more.
