Lunch time on Friday never looked so good, On Upper Terminator.
This wasn't the end of the trail. In fact it got more intense
as we moved forward. But this is all the Photos we were able
to take. You see when your out in the middle of no where you
need to be prepared for anything! Well it was around here where
we had a Medical Emergency, one of our crew took a nasty fall
while filming, and the only thing to do was, concentrate on
getting out and seeking help. It wasn't a place or time for Murphy's Law
it give us a double whammy, as the lead truck blocking the trail
wouldn't start. It seems that 18psi fuel pressure wasn't enough
kick to start that horse. We took the fuel filter off to check
if it was plugged, we did multiple things. But luck, Murphy wasn't
going to give in. After 45 mins of nothing, Quadr1 got up & smacked(smacked)
the fuel pump box with his hand (his Hand) a couple of times and presto
The rig started. (now that was real technical) It appears the Quadr1 has
the magic touch. So we got back on the way, we went through
a super narrow passage that was sure to take out everyone's drivers side
but we navigated it precisely & came out unskaved. I'm happy to say my
friend though banged up pretty darn bad & is very sore but healing.
He will be back up around soon. So here is the last few shots of
Upper Terminator, We will redo This Trail in the "fall." But lets watch
A GO Pro from the trail.

u5UjNhM6uIg

Just a side note I said the "fall" because like Predator, Upper & Lower Terminator,
as well as the other trails in this area are all in the washes that are coming out
of the mountains & have absolutely no shade. They are not the place to be in the
summer time when its 110* on the valley floor, because its 120* there. Not to forget
the nats. While it was only 98* that day it was still brutally hot but the Nats
o my, we must of been the best smelling crew there, because I believe every nat
from the balls of every cow out there were buzzing in our faces, in our ears, it was
ridiculously frustrating especially while we were working on the truck. Note to self
and everyone else, Don't forget to put bug spray in your trucks. Just sayin.....
Here is a short video and slide show together with a unique twist. See you tonight.

Its Friday night, for some its date night. This is a slide show
of a spot in the Trail that was hard to warrant posting individual pictures,
so a slide in chronological order is what I chose. But it was still part
of a technical trail.

XcsN7lA553E

In this group of pictures we have completed the trail
and went back to the start to play around and take some more pictures.

Here is a video From Upper Terminator right before one of our crew decided
to practice their belly flop on the granite canyon floor using a 8" zoom lens
as means to protect their chest cavity. Can you say........yeah that to.

Top of the morning to ya, that's where we are going to Start on top of Moab,
In Canyon-lands National Park. In this video you will briefly see a rock
protruding from the edge. I called it over hang rock. My wife and I took
pictures out on it. But I was scared to death to watch her out there by
herself, one miss step or stumble I would have been reluctantly cashing in
on her life insurance policy. In this video she is standing there holding
the video camera filming over the edge. I was behind her holding on to her
waist so she wouldn't loose her balance. People I am a grown man But I am
not ashamed to say I was freaking out.

o76xQVywEZU

Here is a still picture of that rock. There is a green shrub right in front
of it just follow the edge of the cliff at the bottom of the picture.

This is just the Bronco parked in front of the Cabin we rented.

In this group we are heading to another spot on the overlook.
The trail seems to lean just a little bit, I was glad it wasnt anywhere near the edge.

The La Sal mountain range is in the back ground of this Photo.

According to our spotter who frequents the trail. Hamburger Hill is
appropriately named because of the wind, rain & vehicles it gets
rearranged and becomes worse.

When we came around the corner we saw this jeep at the top of the hill
so we stopped and watched but it soon became clear he was having a lot of
trouble, he was by himself other than his wife and dog. But he wasn't
going anywhere fast. So we felt like we should lended a hand. Time went
by and we pretty much were building a path for this guy to get up, soon
a group 6 jeeps came up behind us, & they chipped in because nobody was
going anywhere until he got up. So here are a couple pictures of the chaos.

Once up, then it was my turn, The gentlemen guiding did a great job.

Well that's the mid day show we'll pick up tomorrow mid day right back here.
Ill see you tonight. be sure to check in.

Good Evening, I think everyone at this point if you haven't voted you
still have a pretty good Idea who your going to Vote for. If not I still
Have more videos and pictures to help you make a decision. This is a scenic
video of the overlook and Pinnacle Rock. The beauty of Moab is Just incredible.

5R__bW7HN3Q

This is the same spot but with Quadr1 and Myself What a perfect backdrop for
this picture.

Ok I jumped ahead in the trail because of the video, so I am going to
back track for a bit to catch things up. Here we are heading out on
the Long Canyon Trail with the overlook rim as our destination.

This was our first stop it was watch tower arch, (which I've already showed you)
but in this picture I have locked my keys inside. I found some barbed wire
made a loop Quadr1 is on the other side directing me I got the door handle
I pull up on the wire my wife is right there shes pulling on the door handle
Quadr1 is saying that's it you got it. But nothing the door isn't opening???
We try again still the door wont budge not the slightest bit. We're Puzzled?
Well look at the picture. Where are my feet? Yep a duh moment.

I guess the altitude and the view are making me goofy.

We made it. Nothing like driving right up to a 1000' vertical drop off.
No safety fences here. Parents you are responsible for your children,
No park ranger in site for miles......

Its getting dark so time to start heading back to camp, Besides
its getting hungry out here.

Back at camp time to eat.

2 days left have you voted yet?

In this short video we are starting out on the trail Fins n Things
We come to this spot, its a small ledge so I decide to take that
route. I approach slowly, make contact and for what ever reason
Its giving me issues, Its sandy on top, so traction is limited,
My wife is starting to Questioning should we just back down and
move on, I know without question I have successfully been
over obstacles a lot harder than this, even with the lockers off.
I called this spot bump rock because Quadr1 then says bump it. I do
and wall la I'm up. I park the vehicle to guide Quadr1 reach over
to turn the Lockers off..... I didn't have them on. Anyways I still
think it wasn't all of that. But I cut out a lot of the video,
it is what it is. Just a bump in the trail.

ItRD6G41WWY

Here are some pictures taken from that spot Bump Rock.

Moving on down the trail we come over the top of the hill,
this is what we see.

This video is from my cell phone holding it out the drivers window.

Back on Hamburger Hill, This was a fun nerve racking section of the
trail, it was technical but more so than that it was right on the edge
of the cliff. It was all you could do to focus in front of you, all
the while knowing how darn close the edge was. Tomorrow you'll get a
better idea of what I'm talking about. Until then Enjoy your lunch
on the edge of Hamburger Hill.

The lunch bell has rung, Ill be back tonight with more pictures and video from Moab.

Besides Arches there were some other formations that had to be captured.

First things first. To all who have served and or are still serving.
THANK YOU!!! It is because of YOU, and your families that for one I
sleep very well at night knowing that you have my six (6). That you
are there to step in front of me so that I may live a life of Freedom, from
those who wish to take down this great Nation Both Foreign & Domestic.

You wrote out a blank check for this country forfeiting your life, That check
I cant cover, so for that I will be forever be indebted to YOU! Thank You
For preserving the Freedoms that we take for granted every day. May God Bless
You and your Families the way you Protect our Great Nation.

Happy Memorial Day Bronco maniacs, if your out & about wheeling it up,
stay safe and keep the rubber side down.

This mornings videos is the last of the Fins n Things Videos but I still
have more for you enjoy from Moab and Kanes Creek. Its going to be a long day.

VLDEDa0o2QQ

This next spot just kept going up and the whole way the trail was like this.
Makes you wonder what was going on in this area to do this to the rock.

Then we finally get to the end and I figured hey heres a great spot for umpteen more flexy posing shots.

This video is of Kane Creek Canyon.

zNI2mpx3uts

I'm not done!

Its the last day of FOTM for MAY 2016
Lets continue this party with another Video from Kane Creek, So the story behind
this video is We've just left the stress of Hamburger Hill we were told that it was the
hardest part of the trail we are home free an hour has past since Hamburger Hill we
round this corner and before us was another hill of the same crap we just came through
but only steeper shorter but steeper and now its starting to rain. God Help us because
we are mentally done. All we wanted to do was go home and drown ourselves in beverages
and talk about surviving Hamburger Hill.

_EiBOz9KAy0

You can see it wasn't as bad as it looked, but from our stressed out brains our eyes saw
Hamburger all over again.

As Paul Harvey would say now THE REST OF THE STORY. While in Sedona and Moab
my wife took over 4000 pictures and videos, approx half of our Bronco.
So for her these to trips were working trips basically getting out walking the
must of the entire trails, taking pictures both of the Bronco and scenery.

We got back home in Arizona a week went by then we started hashing out videos,
then pictures keeping 2 separate files one of coarse of the Bronco the other
of the trips themselves. I went to Amazon ordered a 125GB thumb drive for everything.
a week later it came in and for the next 2 weeks I diligently picked out what pictures
I was going to post for FOTM edited Video Etc I even took old pictures from years ago
that were worthy for such a competition and put them on my fancy Thumb drive
in total over 1025 pictures and 100 videos. My plan was to post 25 to 30 pictures
a day as well as 3 videos a day.

I took the thumb drive to work with me the very next day so I could fine tune somethings
at lunch. I got really busy and decided not to take lunch and worked through it
which nobody ever does right? Gotta save the tax payers some money somehow.

Got home that night ate dinner went for the thumb drive GONE!!!!! MISSING!!!
call the thumb drive police call somebody where is my thumb drive? I looked for a week
And Occasionally i still look for it but I never found it! Then it hit me,
Not only was the thumb drive gone so were my pictures. I had moved them from my lap top
to the device, I didn't copy them! Now all I had was the pictures I wasn't going to use.
So I started back through them The whole while just having a mental break down,
thinking about my wife and all the crap I had her doing, all of her efforts etc gone...
Then it happened...No this cant be. The Hard drive crashed on my new Lap top.
Are you flipping kidding me...People this is a TRUE STORY Quadr1 can back it up.

Off to Best Buy I had paid for the Mega protection plan when I bought my lap top,
they had to replace the hard drive, I had them recover what they could,
then paid extra to dive in deeper & recover more. So a big thanks goes out to
Quadr1 & Miss Kelly they had taken pictures as well, if it wasnt for them I was
going to have to withdraw from the competition. So must of the pictures you've
viewed except for a few 300 from Quadr1 These were the pictures that I had chosen
NOT to use in this contest. The Pictures from Predator, Terminator, and The Night Run,
were all done during this competition! Now You Know The REST of The Story.

With all that said here are the remainder of my trip pictures to Moab.
These were taken from Fins N Things.

This is leaving that last hill. On our Way out of the Canyon.

Buckle up or get out if you have a fear of heights close your eyes,
or look right because we are starting off with these instructions
from our spotter. "you need to drive right up to the edge, or as close
to the edge as you are comfortable with!"The closer the better.
Look at my left front tire! Did you swallow as hard as I did?

In this first picture this guy had nerves of steel he was literally standing
on the edge of at least 100' cliff of pretty much straight down.

Happy Hour Time.
The couple in the last picture were in the jeep we helped up.
Ok we have pretty much cleared Hamburger Hill and here are a
few last spots to contend with, when....

We come around the corner and saw another hill of mess. that you saw in the video.
