After getting the motor in and running, I wanted to start with the interior. I knew it would be faster and cheaper than starting with the exterior. I wanted something complete to look at to motivate me to get the truck done.

In case you didnít see the video of what I had started with here it is again
(Itís only 49 seconds)

quK9DMSI888

Also here are some shots of the Before interior:

So I started stripping everything out .. (We all know this is the easy part):

Sanding the floors Danielson:

Little bit of Surface rust but not bad:

Really the only problem area was the passenger floor (underneath the heater core) where it looks like OP let it leak awhile. Most rust sanded off, but I had to put a small patch panel where it rusted through.

Donít laugh at the welds, I didnít care just didnít want warping and was going to grind anyway lol:

I will continue with the rest next,
Thank you for looking

Pretty big day for the Bronco yesterday. First order of business was to take my dog on some errands, which he always appreciates. He's about 13 but he perks right up when I ask if he wants to go for a ride. He knows the drill.

Ridin' shotgun!

After that, I had a hankering to find some snow, so up the mountain we went. Went from sea level to about 3,000' elevation. Want to know the easiest way to make your 5.0 faster? Time lapse.

u0d7UZ56xKg

Pulled into an empty church parking lot on the way with a bunch of ice on the ground. Couldn't resist.

whqYAOWdxvw

Not a ton of snow on the ground, found a couple deep spots to let the fresh BFGs do their thing. Didn't push it what fer not having another rig out there. Still had fun and got a few good shots out of it.

Thanks for lookin fellers!

Almost forgot, a funny story from yesterday. We stopped off at a hardware store to grab some duct tape to make the camera mount (duct tape my phone to the dash/windshield) and as I pulled out of the parking lot, I noticed cars coming up pretty quick behind me. I put the hammer down and as I hit third gear, I heard a "tink tink tink" behind me. I thought nothing of it. At the stop light the car, driven by a nice lady and a feller in a newer lifted f150 proceed to tell me that my tailpipe just fell off. I told them I'm not worried about it and they both burst out laughing. I apologized for accidentally launching exhaust parts at her car. I expected her to be angry but she thought it was hilarious and drove off laughing. Truck sounds better anyway.

I'm a little behind the game and swamped with work. But I'll try to get some details and pictures up soon. Looks like this could be already over though. Damn nice Bronco Quader!

Today it was out of the snow and into the dirt, rock and mud. Headed to a place fairly nearby with some fun little trails. It had been raining pretty good right up to the point when I got there, so it was pretty wet. Made a good little bit of mud and it cut down on traction quite a bit, but those new BFGs had no issues and my BKO was as sure footed as a mountain goat. A big, badass mountain goat.

The area is well known as being a now-defunct copper mine. It is always neat to check out some of the old, abandoned mining equipment.

More pictures. The terrain gets steeper and more interesting as I go along. Very foggy here today, it made for some pretty neat pics.

EDIT: video added.

@BoulderBronco , Photobucket is still clunky and cumbersome, but its not too bad for uploading pictures. It's what I use. Give it a try.

WAY to early to be casting votes IMO, we are only 4 days in. This contest is also about who tells the best Bronco story and entertains us for the ENTIRE month. Someone could have the most amazing Bronco ever and if they didn't put in the effort I would not vote for them. That's my 2 cents.

Hanging onto my vote for a while yet...

BTW I really like the pic of your Bronco in the sand by the water.. sweet shot!!

Your problem Jim is you are trying to show him up on the trails. You need to post pics of your Bronco in its home environment. We need mall crawling photos!
