Just like 96bronco and 379sinvb said don't worry about what other BKOs are posting showcase YOUR RIDE, YOUR STATE & tell YOUR STORY, there is a lot of time left in this contest, and you have a awesome looking Bronco(I'm drooling over your 37s). If you have the time go out each weekend take a ton of pictures of the Bronco show us what you do with it, 96Bronco showed us his BKO was more than a trail rig. Don't forget the videos, I have already seen some really cool shots with incredible back drops. PIMP YOUR RIDE don't be a silent one pun intended! Pimp it pimp it pimp it.

I live in the land of NO, all the beach access is pretty much shut down this time of year and closest place to wheel is 4 hours away, but i have plenty of pictures to post dont worry about that part. My comment was more of joking anyway.

Painting the interior

Seemed like forever sanding, but I wanted a good base that was rust free.

After soooo much sanding, I wanted some gratification, and to see some results. I started with the dash. I wasnít sure what I wanted to paint the exterior but I knew I wanted gray two tone interior. I knew it would go with any exterior color I chose, but I also already had 2 vehicles with Tan. So I Just picked out a light gray for the dash and painted it with PPG Acrylic enamel.

The dash sanding begins (I also had to patch a few holes in it from the OP)

Welding up some holes

Primed and painted:

I had gotten very excited on how the dash turned out, and that was enough to put myself into overdrive.
So I got the floor primed. I used a Direct to metal primer that was an epoxy. It was capable of filling 36 grit scratches if I wanted too.
I had to do the floor over 2 days (Half and Half) because I couldn't crawl around on it lol.

So I wonít bore you with the ďsanding and re-priming againĒ so itís off to painting the floors:

Next up was to prime and paint the roof (at least the metal part of the roof):

I think it was about 110 degrees out that day (too damn hot to be spraying) so I ended up with some orange peel. I didnít care it did this on the floor as it was getting carpeted, but not acceptable on the roof and dash.

I would later rectify the orange peel by letting it cure, then color sanding and buffing. I came out way better than factory but canít seem to find the pictures. I will post them later.

Thanks tons for looking

My headlights where all fogged up so i got some clear headlights and upgraded the bulbs to LED.

I also updated the rear tail lights to clear and added LED bulbs as well and replaced the third brake light.

A Sneak peak of Moab

I have been showing some pictures of Sedona Arizona, This is really the first Time I have taken the BKO to any real four wheeling. If I’m going to be honest this is the first time I have been the driver at any serious four wheeling (to me that is). On top of that you have to remember, I have a 4 speed Standard transmission so it’s one hell of a learning curve for me.

Now this Sedona trip was to be for a testing run, as the Bronco was freshly been finished and needed to see where it would be for the real trip that was to come. Now I will get back to the Sedona trip but wanted to post this video of Moab, the trip that was on my bucket list (and still is)

The Bigger your screen the Better

Thank you for watching

.

More interior

Interior is now painted. I had previously ordered pretty much everything I needed and had it in boxes ready to be put together.

I started with sound deadener. I wanted to quiet things down and insulate the whole interior. I had bought 2 36Ē rolls.

I started from the rear and moved forward covering everything at least once.

Moving my way forward. I used a rubber roller, and the handle of a screwdriver to push it in place. This stuff is easy to install and forms really well.

Next in line was a new wire harness from AAW. This kit had pretty much everything I needed. The BKO had a lot of electrical gremlins in it that I didnít even start to look for. I figured if I have problems after the kit, then I would start looking.

Also I was to add a lot of electrical stuff so I needed a new fuse block anyway.

The Wire kit was easy. I took about 8 hours total. I laid out the new harness (after removing the old one) and zip tide, and taped the harness wire that I knew would be run together.
This made it real easy.

The old:

Once the harness was in, all gremlins were fixed. Iím sure Iím missing something but the windshield wipers, running lights, brake lights, fuel gauge, dash switch for rear window were all fixed with a new wire harness.

Been as this is pretty much my first time wheeling, everything I would go over I was impressed with the BKO not knowing what they were capable of and sometimes thinking I needed to change pants LOL. Luckily @itwasFREE!!!! Was there to baby me through it all. He would go through or over the obstacle, and then get out and direct me through it the whole way through the whole trip.

Here is a few going down the staircase on trail called Broken arrow:

I didn't realize until after the trip, every picture I saw of me in the BKO driving I had a smirk on my face I enjoyed it so much. I even had told my wife I love this.

Was looking on craigslist one day and found a deal on some 37" MTR's on some fake beadlock wheels, picked them up and they fit perfectly.
