Its was one of those lucky finds on ebay after looking for a few months, it wasn't cheap though, cost me a few hundred bucks.

Very jealous! Nice score on the steering wheel! I have both those as well as the bigger dash piece on my list to replace. Mine have the classic cracks forming on them.

Man, your truck sure is Nice!

Next on the list of things to do was the Stereo. I like good sounds and know that speaker selection is important. I had infinity component speakers before so thatís what I went with.

The head unit I really wanted a double din but couldnít figure out a way for it to work. The reason is I wanted a built in GPs so I got the next best thing, a Single Din with a pop-out screen.
It still took extensive work to the mounting bracket as the screen when out would hit the air conditioning control and not open all the way. So I broke out the welder and made the bracket pop out more.

I then used some of the PVC and shaped it around the stereo hole and glued it on:

It almost looks factory, and the screen can open all the way now:

I mounted an EQ to the front of the cubby hole in the center console:

Your attention to detail and ability to make everything look as good or better than factory continues to AMAZE me. Nice work on not just the stereo but all the interior stuff you have shown us!!

Thank's man I really appreciate the compliments. I just knew if I could make everything look and work good on the interior it would motivate me to finish the whole truck so it was important to me to get it right.

@Quader1 - Nice head unit install. I have a head unit with a flip up screen and could not figure out how to get it into my 78 and make it look good. I finally ended up putting it my 84.

It came time for a new front bumper and Hefty Fabworks just came out with there front bump and really liked the look of it and some extra cash came my way and the order was placed and it showed up at my house. It comes in 3 pieces and got it unboxed and put together so i could see it all together.

To fill in the hole for the winch i found a used warn 9.5k, justed needed a cable, so i bought a synthetic one for it.
It was a little rough looking, so i cleaned it up and gave it a coat of paint and a little maintenance.

Mounted and wired

Mounted the relay box under the hood.

Also i know needed a place to mount my licence plate, so i made one and copied one that is removable.

Thank you, I hear ya man I kind of lucked out and had all the stuff to make it work. I used the PVC and rubber cement to glue it in. I forgot to mention I also shaved down the air conditioning knobs about 1/4 inch also to make it work.

Still in the White Tank mountains , Coming up another hill, you can see how steep it is, and how loose the ground is. We all know how pictures donít do justice:

This is the second video I took with the GoPro. This time I mounted it on the hood. It definitely shows the two weeks of body work I have in the hood,
you can see how straight it came out.

Itís nothing too harry but does have some serious leaning in it. Kinda hard to tell without looking at the sky line.
It also shows me trying to dodge all the Palo Verde trees, Unsuccessful I might add. I spent over 5 hours the next day buffing out what we call Arizona Pinstripes out of the paint.

Last thing on the list for the interior was the roll bar. I didnít use the one that came with the BKO as it was too thick, and I couldnít put the seat all the way back without hitting it.

So I got a Proto Fab roll bar (nice Guy) and painted it with etching primer, then black:

It turned out good, it looks glossy in the picture but is was fresh when I took the picture. Now time for mounting.

Thank you for looking!!!!

Gave it a fresh coat of paint and dropped it in and it fit perfect.

That roll bar looks nice! perfect match. I need to add that to my never ending list of upgrades

Great Shots Boulder. I really enjoy that part of the state. Looks like you were up there early spring. Tons of snow in that second to last pic.

Oh and I still absolutely love my bumper.. :)

Here is a Cell Phone video of me going up the first hill (before the GoPro was hooked up)

It shows you just how Green and inexperienced I am at Driving. I even put it in 4Hi thinking it was in 4Lo so wasnít expecting the way it acted it being clutch and all. So pretty much 2 tries:

Wasn't much happening on the bronco front for the past couple days, save for getting my alignment and offset camber bushings after getting my leveling coils installed. Finally got out to hit some light trails yesterday. My bud took the lead in his completely worn out 375k mile f150 so we took an easier trail. Found a couple interesting spots, a little hill climb, descent, and a water crossing. Mostly just fun to shake down the fresh suspension parts and get off that nasty pavement stuff.

ĖI will have to go back and get a good vid of the hillclimb. The trail ultimately took us across the Shasta dam.

Snapped this one after a rain and the sun came out.

Here are a few more pics of the White Tanks, it was a fun little trail run and getting towards the top the views were stunning, other than the scratches it was well worth the drive.
