Pete's 86 Bronco D60 swap

Picked up my donor rig today.

Truck's almost ready to go.

Not much tech right now, but the F350 has all new joints brakes and some other parts.

hahaha its hick

Going to pull the front end out, and get a Sky manufacturing shackle reversal kit.

Stock F350 steering linkage bolted to the Bronco's pitman arm. Gonna keep the stock F350 leafs too.

Sterling out back with the stock F350 leafs.

Pretty simple.

The reason for the Sky Manufacturing kit is I don't trust my welding enough for something like this, and they've already done the engineering. Do you guys keep the panhard bars or not? The leafs have all new bushings in them.

With the Sky Kit, there will still be some welding required as they did do all the engineering but they did so around the F350's boxed frame horns. Just something to keep in mind. On mine I have simple spacers with bolts through them between the frame and the Sky's frame mounting brackets until I can get the frame ends boxed in.

I will be putting a panhard bar back on mine. Most of the 350 guys still run theirs with their lifts and swear by them after riding with them off. The Sky kit will come with the drop bracket.

I'm not too scared to box the frame horns. I just don't want to weld on hangers.

How do you go about mounting the panhard bar to the frame? Just bolt that bitch on there?

what did you pay for the f350? btw those front seats sell for $300-600 on ebay. Not sure why people are paying so much.

Thanks man.

I found a set of 38s that I'm probably gonna pick up tomorrow, if they come with the rims. 16.5's, so when the super swampers wear out Ill rock the H1 tires for 70 bucks a pop.
