Those are the ones I have back under my frame to supplement the 32" ones on my bumper.

We must reject the idea that every time a law's broken, society is guilty rather than the lawbreaker. It is time to restore the American precept that each individual is accountable for his actions.

Don't come by here. They've already been teleported to your front porch.

4 wheel season must have begun. Those of us who still ride the TTB must prepare.

I found a 78 bronco at DEAL auto wrecking(Its not a deal $400), complete minus the hubs, rotors and calipers. I'd like to take it home, but I need to read more. SO, here I am searching through these little blurbs y'all throw around hoping to figure out how to do this myself. Thinking about trying to hook up with WoodyDog to learn some more on this, but for now...I'll keep reading so I can pretend I know something when I find the right idiot.

The 78-79 axles practically fall in underneath these trucks. Problem is you have to lift 4-6" to clear the crossmember up front, then you ahve to put bigger tires on cause of the lift, then you have to regear, then you have to lock. Blah...

I wouldnt say practically fall into place there is alot of work to be done to make sure you have the right set up and its well worth the expense. Im now gathering parts the TTB is not a good set up IMO. When I did alignments for a local shop trying to get the damn things straight was a headache, I also charged more for TTB.

What benefits do you get from moving the tie rods to the top? Better angle? Less wear?
Looks great, I think I'm going to go buy mine this weekend.

Did your axle have any type of original caster adjusters on the upper ball joint?

Also, while you have the reamer out are you planning to ream the TRE for the draglink? And a spare set too?
