rear bumper I started build.

Started to build a back bumper for the wife's 79.
Another 6 to 8 hour it will be done.

Looks sharp. You gonna fill-weld all those seams? Or French some lights into it? How are you going to access the pin for the receiver? Where will the license plate go?

Thanks Steve, yes going to weld all the seams up .I can access the pin from under the bumper. And I am going with some back up lights French inn, the tag will be mounted on the swing arm.

Thanks guys ,yes Red it clears & it's a little rusty,That's my winter project I have other tub in better shape, trying to fine some time to get that tub in the garage. I still need to fine the time to finish this bumper.

Thanks rolnthunder, I have a few pics of some bumpers I have built. This first one is a bumper I built for my buddies 79 that has a 3" body lift and a 4" spring lift. I built this bumper to hide the body lift gap. This one I built for my own bronco about 10 years ago. Now it's on the wife's 79. A this is the one on my 79 now.

You have built some sweet stuff Dave. I like how yours are not as big and bulky as others I've seen. Some look like you would have to build up the suspension due to the huge bumper. One of these days im going to have to come up with something for mine. Keep up the good work!
