I'm going to be knee deep in a sandrail project so won't be going to SOB this weekend. We may be at Florence the following week (Wed Through Sat)
If things come together.

I'd like to stay in touch and as you get closer to completion it would be fun to perhaps get together and make a shake down run or two with you. Sandlake is only just over an hour away.
Not many pre-runner style rigs up here.

My buddy Kevin just lives over the hill from you in Hillsboro. He has Extreme Motorsports and he builds some awesome stuff. He helped me with mine. Maybe you've seen Cliff Robinsons (former Portland Trailblazer)bronco or heard of it.He built that one.I know its not a bronco but do you have some pics of your Rail?

Yes, I'm familiar with Robinson's rig through stories I've heard from friends, supposed to be a pretty well done up rig. Nice to get some help from friends with those kind of skill sets.

Not a bronc but still fun...

You can see more of the project in my supermotors stuff
http://www.supermotors.net/atvs/registry/18893

It sits just about as you see it in the pics and we are supposed to go to Florence Next week...... long way to go between here and there.
Probably going to be a 5 day trip the first week or two of Sept. instead

2L Pinto motor. I had all the work done and was putting in cam bearings this week when the cam tower cracked.... so I've been looking for another 71-74,
3 tower 2.0 head.

Sucks already had done all the machine work to the head, guides valve, job etc + powder coat and now it's junk.

Dang that sucks on the head cracking.I have a 280zxr datsun 1 of only 1,015 made. Im working on the motor and ported the head and found out there would be to much work to get enough compression out of it, due to it being off of a turbo car. Now I have to start over with a different head.Kinda feel your pain.Ya it would be cool to meet up with you Decker when I get the Bronco done we will have to keep in touch.

Sounds like a plan Yogib,
What year is the 280? I have always had a soft spot for the 240-260's even though I'm a die hard pushrod V8 muscle car guy.

The Z is a 1979. Its in beautiful shape except the motor. Has the factory whale tail and is silver with blue and black accent striping. And it would be nice to meet Archer as well.I like what you have done with the older fullsize bronco.
