100+mph

Anyone ever taken their bronco into this fun/dangerous place? I have taken my bronco up to 103mph confirmed by gpsv and I think i pushed that a little yesterday on my way down from Gainesville.

Under 2000 rpm during the week. Over 3000 rpm over the weekend.

I have had a pickup over 140 before, was a totally modified truck of course. Most vehicles get unstable over 120 or so due to air under the chassis causing lift.

I travel normally between 70-75. I do have some vibration in that range but it smooths out.
once in a great while I'll open her up to 90... but never felt the need to push a giant brick like the FSB up that high.

now... the Hog's another story.

I've had every vehicle I've owned to 100mph, including ol blue with 37s and 4.88 gears. My new Bronco will never see it with the 300/np435/4.56 gears and 37s. At 75 mph I'm at 3500 rpm in high gear. It just won't get that fast. I have had my 03 Mach 1 up to 150 and it was just a nice floaty ride. Way to fast for me now though

Yeah mostly tires limit top speed and gearing , I have had my dads Duramax up to 140, no governer on the turbo diesel. I have had a drag car over 150 and a bike to 190, that was scary shit on a Honda Hurricane.

I've had mine up to 85 on the speedo on the sand flats at Winchester bay. Never adjusted the PSOM when I went from 33's to 35's, so it's still "calibrated" for 33's. I suspect it was close to 90 or 95.

Nothing like a 3" ypipe dumping at the front tires at ~4500 RPM to make everyone turn and watch.

TTB rocks.

Something about sand just makes we want to go fast....

Not a chance.

I've had my Z to 150, but hold the Bronco to 70 or 75. It feels right there.

65-70 MPH is about as fast as I've pushed my 86 on the freeway even though I only have about 13-14K on the 2008 rebuilt engine.......I don't like paying for tickets and out here in Cali they love pulling your ass over to write you up, in 2011 I got a speeding ticket doing what I thought was 55-57 in a 45 but the Cop said he got me at 62, with the traffic school and fine it cost me $440.00 so no thanks guys! .......lol lol

Good Luck ~

Speed rating on tires is one hour at the given speed rating so you could do 109 for an hour
