BRG and Tread Lightly

If you havent done so, please join either one of these organizations. They are the biggest groups that we have on our side.

Blue Ribbon Coalition
http://www.sharetrails.org/

Tread Lightly
http://www.treadlightly.org/

If money is tight, I know Tread Lightly has a "Become a friend" option which is free and just puts your name on petitions. We have large numbers, probably larger than the vocal Enviro-nazis. We need to make our numbers heard.

Come on people they fight for the cause. They are trying to keep the wilderness open for us to enjoy. It not to much cash out of pocket. Tread lightly has a friends of section that doesnt cost a thing. They just use your name on petition as a member. Take a minute and check them out.

Very worth while cause....

There are usually local land use groups that work with Tread Lightly, in Utah we have Utah Four Wheel Drive Assoc. www.u4wda.com

Check with any local clubs that you know of.

We do monthly trail clean up and rides, we do some BBQ for the guys that show up. They are always big events where people bring out their kids and wives.
The last one we had, in December had 50+ rigs and in November we had 71!

To announce that there must be no criticism of the president, right or wrong - is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.Theodore Roosevelt (1858 - 1919) was the 26th president of the U.S.

i've been a tread lightly member for a while. Working with other off-roaders to keep this hobby alive is the only way. The example of hot-rodders is the best way for us to model our behavior. Working with local authorities and respecting others on the road or the land that we use is the best way to keep land open.
