You know how it goes, another day, another problem.
Today, I cranked it up after changing the temp sender and now its ticking in the valve cover. After it warms up it stops. So im going to do a full oil change and see if that helps. Hopefully its not the oil pump.

There is a ford recall on the cruise control, took it to a dealer and had it fixed for free.

Tommorow I will order a new tailgate latch, heater core, and get the transmission fixed. Sure will be nice to be able to drive this thing.

I was reading thru the Heater Core Tech write up and then looked at mine.

Does anyone know what this box is?
[IMG][/IMG]

This box is pictured in the write up. I dont have one. There is a Plug there Labeled PSOM. I assume that goes to whatever is supposed to be there.
Does anyone know what that box does?
This is what Mine looks like..............

Here is the connector

[IMG][/IMG]

Im Also having trouble figuring out how to De-Pin this connector for the rear window defroster. Does it just Pull out? I dont wanna break it. DO you have to depress a pin in there somewhere? Here are some pics.

The PSOM is for reprogramming your speedo. It does not connect to anything until you want to reprogram. THen you need a jumper cable to a ground.

I knew that sounded familiar. I remember reading about that a few months back. thats the one you ground to get into programming mode to set the speedometer offset to correct for tire size.

What about the box? Still have no clue what that is.

In a '94, the ABS controller is behind the left headlight, under the washer/overflow container. At least that's where mine is.

Well I finally got these things off.

[IMG][/IMG]

The reason the drivers side was bent down was....

[IMG][/IMG]

They still look pretty decent on the top side...but the bottoms are fairly rusted. Looks like they were actually on upside down because there is what looks like step pads that were once on the bottom.

[IMG][/IMG]

If you want em. You can HAVE them...just let me know before Friday, thats when the garbage man comes by.
Either come by my place in Orlando and get em, or send me some shipping money to get them out to you.

Here it is now without the bars on it. Looks much better to me. Those crusty rusty bent ass bars need to find a home on a toyota.

Now to save up enough for some of these From Mr. Hefty....

OK, now that the MLPS is taken care of, whats next.
Wife told me that I need to order up some new weather stripping to get this thing water tight now.
Not being the kind to argue with my wife, I thought that was a great idea. So next weekend will be weather stripping day.
I need em all too.
