when you get your tax check back, hit the junkyard and find a functioning steering column with a working key switch.

Don't feel bad, I have no cash and my Bronco is in a thousand pieces. Looks like you will rolling soon!

I pulled one out of a 88 F150 that's been sitting in our yard forever, its currently sitting on the passenger side of the bronco, just haven't had a key made

Ordered:
Parking Brake Cables
Valve Cover Gaskets
Power steering pump
I hope the pump is why the wheel is hard to turn, but I can't think of anything else it could be.

Thank you.
I know this is not currently the most entertaining build thread in the world, but I'm not the richest guy in the world, and before I even dream of things like lifts and lockers (I actually don't intend to lift it or do a SAS but lockers in the future) I need to make sure I have a solid running truck :)

so the next step for the bronco is going to be pulling the seats and repairing the floor board and front seats.

However, I have long been thinking of buying a bronco just for parts, but it'd be a bit much for my F150, I'd also like something that matched Sloppy color wise, only one place to get one of those, I didn't wake up yesterday thinking I think I'll buy a truck today, but I did.

09 F-250 with the 6.8L V10, 5 speed, 4x4. It is pretty clean, especially inside, has the options it needs and nothing it doesn't, and other than the fuel mileage I knew it'd get (I'm a uhaul mechanic, spent a lot of time driving and diagnosing these) I'm really happy with it.

F150 got traded in.
The difference in payments wasn't worth sweating over to me, and I've got a whole hell of a lot more truck.
Just means I'm going to need to finish bronco or fix my isuzu so I don't get 12 mpg everywhere I go lol

It's funny when a Bronco is referred to as a fuel efficient alternative. I like it

Lol, I know.
I don't know what it will get, I'm hoping for close to what my 89 F150 with a 302 got, around 14 in town and upwards of about 17 highway

budget seat replacement :)

seat frame is cracked here

they tried to stabilize it by putting in this cheesy ghetto cross brace, not saying we won't brace it here but we'll do a lot better job

I like that color, also incredibly jealous of that front bumper and cab visor, those two things have eluded me for a year.. It is so damn hard to find a nice aftermarket bumper for these bricknoses..

The front bumper is a home built that I'll have to modify further so that it mounts better.

I've had at least 2 people offer to buy the visor.....
