You do hot lead work also? Do you do auto body work as a profession? I just came across your build thread and I must say that your work is very professional! My Father-in-Law used to do hot lead work years ago in the auto body trade. I wish I could have picked his brain about it before he passed. It is a lost art.

Fix it, or fix it so someone has to!

Thank you Festus! I am working with cars for 17 years now and "only" doing the electric stuff on cars at work, but on my private cars especially on the Bronco I do everything. Hot lead is the best way to fill bigger gaps which lasts for a long time. It's never too late to learn it if you are interested in that kind of work. If you have the chance to get a cheap set of body lead stuff and you like to use it one day on your car or somewhere else just try and learn - like I did.

Hey CLBartholomew, thank you! I would be very proud if I could become full size of the month of the month

Ok, ok :-) here are a few updates...

Installed a new ground cable Motor to Frame and to Battery:

Fresh sandblasted Header

Rust and dirt removed with grinder wire wheel - a dirty work!!!

Header with new ceramic high temp paint - like new :-)

Drive shaft with new paint:

Last part of my update - one of my four exhaust parts. Made from 2,5" Stainless Steel Pipes. This part comes from muffler, goes over the rear axle passes the tank on the side and ends behind the rear tire

I'm still welding the pipes and I think I'm going to polish them.

I hope I will finish welding the next days and give you another update of the welded pipes.
