Heat shields, channels and mounts spotless, except some grime and undercoat but I already know how to deal with that.

These are always gone, my Brick nose from the south has holes here. In this case spotless, the undercoat chipped off revealing original paint underneath NO RUST!

Super clean frame, frame mount holes are solid, no grinding necessary there.

Unloading here you can see the top view, the roof looks rusty but is just surface. The Texas and Arkansas heat just baked the seam sealer and paint off to clean metal.

Cut the quarter off, super clean other than the dirt from the southern clay and sand.

The only crunch that I am going to have patch up is the lower corner of the door jamb. I just need a small section, not the whole part.

No before picture but fixed up a serious crunch on the inside and the door jamb from someone picking up the tub with a strap.

Reconstructed the outside rail, needs some touch up and one more piece put in but coming back into shape. It was totally smashed so I cut it out and welded a new piece in.

My girlfriend had never been to the Deep South so she was amazed, now she want to move down over yonder LOL. I would not mind it a bit either, I love the south as people are much friendlier and well the mountains and woods rock!

Just keep in mind we've had triple digit heat indexes all last week. And the humidity!

Been 90 plus with 89% humidity here and the scenery sucks, I used to live near Nashville so I know what hot is. When I was down there a couple weeks ago it was hotter here LOL.

At least we're not in the southwest this week. Hot and humid summers are tolerable, and I live in the hills so no worries about tornadoes. Another plus is that Broncos are somewhat easy to find, so it's been a buyers market (as I learned trying to sell one this spring).

Here any 4WD is gold, you pay 4 Gs plus for a rust bucket. Northern states are hard to find any good vehicles, even cars.

That sucks! We also have "less" rust here than up north, though with the truck I'm working on I wonder if that's true... Guess I should be grateful to live here, even though I see trucks popping up on here or facebook groups for ridiculously low prices.
