Bought this Bronco as a project over two years ago. It only had 150k on it, but it needed a transmission and the motor wasn't running. I pulled the motor and trany. Had a shop rebuild the transmission and add an RV/towing stall convertor. Installed a 5.7L motor from a 1997 F-250 with 130k on it. Replaced the spark plugs, water pump, valve cover gaskets, oil pan gasket, exhaust manifold gaskets, distributor and distributor cap, spark plug wires, vacuum lines (PITA), Both catalectic convertors and v-pipe and new muffler (we have emissions in Georgia). Front of the truck was sagging real bad so I put in some Moog 824 front coils spring. That lifted the front end about 2 1/2" from where it was, then added 6 new KYB gas adjust shocks. Bronco is in the shop getting the frontend aligned right now. Still have a lot of work to do on it, but hopefully I'll get it finished in the next couple months.
Mostly stock I guess. Going to get it repainted and replace the painted bumpers and grill with chrome ones. Planning on running 33x12.50 on factory wheels, and add a custom rear bumpers. But I sure I'll get bored after that and then who knows?
Installed some Moog824 front springs and it raised the front up 2 1/2"s. See picture.
Truck has pretty much rust free except for the lower tailgate, but the red paint was faded on the roof, hardtop, and the hood. So I removed bumpers, door handles, lights and mirrors yesterday and took it to the body shop to have them paint it.

what wheels are those and where did you get them? width and backspacing? I really like the wheels, I was looking for something similar. What size tire do you intend on putting on it? Looking forward to completed pics.
only because you asked, i think the red grille looks odd with the chrome headlight bezels. should have painted the bezels or have the grille and bezels chrome.
Looking good, of course im partial to red, it reminds me of when my 92 got painted a few years ago. Have you got the valence for the bottom of the front bumper?
Mine didn't have one, once I installed it the front end looked alot sleeker IMO. :thumbup
Please , please post the pics of the wheel and tire combo mounted. I think after looking for some time now I have found what I want. I like your choice of tire and wheel. Very interested in fit and clearance as well as look. Please post some pics of the wheels and tires mounted when you do it. Are you waiting for all the other stuff to get finished first?
